After Roseanne Barr blasted Angelina Jolie and her father Jon Voight, the Midnight Cowboy actor responded to Barr via Extra. Here is Roseanne’s blog entry in case you missed it. Jon’s response is below:
“Answer to Roseanne Barr’s Rant:
We can never be surprised at what vile evil comes from the mouth of a confessed victim of child abuse at the hands of her own parents.
Her parents responded to the accusation by going on the air and slating she is a psychopathic liar and her sister agreed.
Her defaming of our National Anthem in 1990 gave us insight into who she is and what she is capable of saying and doing.
My allegiance to Senator McCain becomes stronger with any assault that tries to deter my loyalty to him.
I can only pray that good people see her for what she is (sick of mind).

Exactly where did he stick up for his daughter? He stuck up for McCain and said not one word about what she said about his daughter or her children. Wow, more loyalty for the politician than for his own daughter. Priceless.

Bravo.. Somebody besides me noticed that he was not sticking up for his daughter, he was sticking up for McCain, and defiending himself for voting for that warmonger. I can’t stand that right-wing nut.

Well Jon has learned to defend her remarks about him and John McCain and not make a statement regarding what she said about Angelina. That part was wise but he stooped to her level when he brought her her painful past as a child. His point could have been taken without bringing up child abuse. They both should SHUT UP!!!

If Rosie had such a painful past maybe people would feel pity or sympathy for her. Roseanns parents did not want to go on National TV to prove to the world their daughter was a pathological liar with mental problems. Roseanne Barr did that all by her little ole self. Well with the help of her then called opportunist new husband (long gone now) Tom Arnold. I forgot about him for a min.
Those two together were a story and a half.
Roseann and Tom were going to write a book on poor Roseanns abusive childhood. As it turns out lie detector tests were done and Roseann failed all of the Nationally publicised tests while her parents passed with flyng colors. They were elderly people and they certainly didnt appear too excited about being on TV to prove their innocence or even want to badmouth their daughter.
All of it was Roseann Barrs call.
Rosseann B is crazy so wheh she got busted for accusing her parenst of child abuse rape etc thats when people found out the truth that none of that happened to her soooo calling her crazy and not adding liar to it didnt seem to make much difference back then b/c nobody cared anymore knowing what she did to her poor parents.
If anything people felt sorry for her parents b/c watching Roseanns looney behavior after the faux accusations made you realize even more what a joke she was. Say g,bye to Roseanns poor me book.$$$$$$$$$$$ . I am sure Tom Arnold cried over that one.

Jon is not defending Angie, he is defending himself and McCain. Jon can talk sh*t to Roseanne, a woman. When a man, Donald Trump was trashing Angie from one talk show to the next, Voight did not open his mouth to defend Angie against Trump.

Considering that Voight has accused his own daughter of being mentally ill and needing therapy - publicly attacking her for adopting Maddox when she did - stating that she was emotionally unstable, calling his granddaughter Zahara by the name of Shakira—-hmmm, he doesn’t have much standing to attack Roseanne’s family. Mr. Voight clean out your own closets first.

Jon was defeinding McCain and himself, he was not defending Angie, otherwise he would have defended her when Donald Trump and Michael Doughlas bashed her.
For those of you who love drama, Rosanne has apologized to Brad and Angie, so you can go back to doing other things now.

One day after blasting Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt on her blog, Roseanne Barr is backing off.
The former “Roseanne” star took to her blog again on Tuesday, offering an apology of sorts to the superstar couple.
In a post titled “I do not know Brangelina,” she writes, “[I] do not mean to personally impugn them as they might be good people in the flesh, but the media’s images of them are smelly and vile, and I must always attack the media’s representation of what is good or cool.”
Roseanne continued, lashing out against bloggers and the media, who were quick to report on her Monday remarks.
“Those who inhabit the media world of glamour and entertainment and fashion and gossip are horrid people who have no talent of any kind, and yet think of themselves as tastemakers,” she continued.
