Older90210 Covers Nylon Magazine
The fabulous girls of the new 90210 series take the latest cover of Nylon Magazine.

“We’re very racy, very provocative, and very modern,” says AnnaLynne. “But the emotions and the issues are very real,” adds Shenae. “Like, on most television shows, the girl gets an eating disorder, she cries, her mom solves it… all in one episode. It’s not like that in real life, and on our show, these characters have real layers that will all peel away very, very slowly.”

Living in L.A., I probably wouldn’t be watching it. Its like saying “I watch the hills”. How superficial would I be? There r other places besides los angeles. Can’t wait till they make a show around midwest area again..sigh.
I’ve always thought Shenae was really pretty. This photoshoot is a little too made up.
Yeah..Iwould love to see another show with a ‘dawson’s creek’ feel..but overly hyped, full of drama, sex, and drugs..

Playing a high school student who is a real trouble maker…. Now we get to see her again in this one… She belongs in gossip girls ..Wow what a way to improve your career…

honestly, gossip girl isn’t even very good, but this is looking to be even worse. hopefully the fact that it has lucille (arrested development) and the writers from freaks&geeks can save it

I think the middle girl is gorgeous. She has something the others don’t. I guess that’s why she’s in the middle.
I think they’re all gorgeous! What a hot little cast :) Shenae is my favorite (I’m a Degrassi nut), but they are all going to cook up plenty of drama. I have no doubt.

I’m a bit worried about this show. I’m still gonna tune in to the premiere but I have a feeling it won’t be able to live up to all the hype it’s getting. GOSSIP GIRL will always be my #1. (:

Nylon is my favourite mag and they should not be putting trash like this on the cover. They’ve really lowered their standards. Obviously the 90210 remake is gonna crash and burn after one season, if that, like most remakes do. But that seems to be the nature of the biz these days, disposable shows that fizzle out after a few months but take in a lot of $$$$$$ in advertising on hype, and are then promply chucked on the scrap heap only to be replaced by the next new thing. Nylon should feature quality actresses that actually have some staying power, like Alexis Bledel, Kristin Bell, even Jessica Biel.

AnnaLynn looks like she’ll suck a d*ck for a dolla. I know she was going for the sexy look but she definitely entered the sleazy territory.

It’s funny, while talking about Degrassi, Shenae Grimes always went on about how different Degrasi was from other teen shows even saying how school isn’t so glamerious like they portray it (using Gossip Girl as an example) now she’s on a Gossip Girl like show and using the comments when talking about the show like she did with Degrassi. Only one she can’t use is the school isn’t so glamerious one.
I don’t like this photoshoot. These actresses are pretty, but the photo’s do nothing for them. As for the show i think it will be a hit. It’s getting so much hype and attention. The CW are really promoting it. I think that alot of people will tune in for the pilot. I hope it is as good as the hype and can live up to it.
I predict that Shanae will become the next it girl ala Blake Lively and Mischa Barton. But that either AnneLynne or Jessica will reveal themselves to be the real talents. No i’m not saying that Shanae can’t act; just baseing my opinions on what happened with the media hype surrounding the actresses on GG’s (ala B Lively and L Meester) and the OC (ala M Barton and R Bilson).
Anorexic is not a good look for Jessica Stroup… I’m a nylon subscriber and I don’t know how I feel about them being on the cover of my favourite fashion magazine.
