Gossip Girl Channels “My Fair Lady”
Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively (in Ralph Lauren) and Leighton Meester go back in time as they step out on-set in period costumes in New York City on Thursday.
Blake’s costume looks way more chic and sophisticated than Leighton’s. Poor Leighton looks like a ragged Mary Poppins!

The second season of Gossip Girl starts off with a bang @ 8PM ET/PT on Monday, September 1. The season premiere of One Tree Hill follows.

I agree with #29. This looks like the sort of dream sequence Blair would have after a scene where she’s been really self-conscious. She always compares herself against Serena in those situations, and she’s seemingly oblivious to her own stunning figure.
I can’t wait for Season 2! I live in the UK so I’m hoping someone will put it up on the internet after it airs.

@ shannon- a lot of ppl think that blake is more talented but because that is just an objective bias just like you’re statment the fact - before gossip girl blake was the bigger star AND most importantly it’s SERENA AND BLAIR in these pics not BLAKE AND LEIGHTON and they storyline required it - and blake is just as talented as leighton if not more - think about you write.
