Gwen Stefani: Second Child On The Way!
Gwen Stefani is giving birth to her second child TODAY via C-section at 10AM PST, according to In Touch.
The 38-year-old Hollaback Girl singer checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Gwen and husband Gavin Rossdale already have a 2-year-old son, Kingston, who was born at the same hospital.
“Gwen’s so excited to have this baby because she gained a lot of weight during this pregnancy,” her pal reveals. “She is ready to meet her new baby and get her body back.”

okay, am I the only one who thinks that above comment is ridiculous??…how did the focus of the birth get placed on her wish to lose weight? Shouldn’t it be more like she’s thrilled to have the baby so that she can meet the new addition to the fam instead of planning out her new exercise and diet regime? Goodness, let the baby pop out first before you jump on the treadmill…the pre-occupation with weight is so crazy…
On the happier side (and should be main focus)- huge congrats to Gwen and Gavin for the safe delivery of a new baby…Kingston is such a cutie and they appear to be a happy family :-)

Actually, It’s the doctors who insist on their patient having c-section. You practically have to fight them for a regular delivery. Doctors claim c-section are easier and safer for the doctors. The doctors don’t like surprises because they are afraid of getting sued.

InFamous, she had a c-section with Kingston b/c he was breech and usually docs want you to get another c-section, not because she is a pussie.
um, c-sections actually shouldn’t be recommended. If you can have the baby naturally, then you should. C-sections should really only be used when the baby is breach or if you are having twins or multiples (or any other health reason that arises). In fact, there was an article about celebs having c-sections and most of the doctors interviewed said that it really isn’t healthy and should not be a 1st choice. C-sections do have an affect on your body (after all, you’re being cut up). Many celebs choose c-sections over natural birth because they can control the exact day/time of the birth. It never stops to amaze me how celebs have to control every situation (even childbirth). But c-sections should not be a 1st option when giving birth. They too can have many health affects on a woman’s body.

Why do so many of you seem to care so much about the private lives of two people you’ll never meet, who in all likelihood don’t care one iota about you or what you think…???
There are many issues of far greater importance much more worthy of your time, attention, and passion…

so meeting them is not the hardest thing to do
you dont have to orb to another demention…. just a walk around london can give you tons of famous people like gavin and gwen…
then theres the fact some of us are fans and visit shows… also giving chance to meet the “untoucheble” stars
yes there is bigger stuff happening in this world… but i rather be happy for my idol getting a new baby then get depressed over world hunger and dumbass wars!
yes i care about those things but if you dont mind… im looking forward to say “congrats G&G”
i can get depressed over the rest any other time

NUMBER # 5 LORI>>>>>>>>>>>>> I agree with you,,,, When I read that statement, I thought, WOW,,,, I just knew it was going to say something like ” she was excited to see how the siblings reacted to one another,”, OR ” to bond with my baby “, OR ” to take my children out to the park and can’t wait for the Holidays” ( which she loves ), ETC….. BUT,,, We, HAD to focus on the weight and fat issue… Forget about having a safe delivery for a mother and child, or the most important, a healthy and happy baby. What a sad comment!! In typical, colorful Hollywood style. By in the morning, her trainer will be at her bedside, with a diet in hand, shakes in the blender whirring, and tofu, smelling up her room. BUT, she will be happy, in her red lipstick, and white designer gown, hair done by a top stylist, and by the time she leaves,: POP>>>> She will be in her Size 4 jeans.. AGAIN!!
