Just Stand Up 2 Cancer — FIRST LISTEN!
Check out the new all-star charity single “Just Stand Up” as recorded by 15 of the most well-known singers in anticipation of the Sept. 5 “Stand Up for Cancer” telethon.
The track, produced by Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and L. A. Reid, starts off with solos by powerhouse singers Beyonce and Carrie Underwood. You’ll later hear Fergie, Leona Lewis and Mary J. Blige belt it out. Other vocalists include: Mariah Carey, Sheryl Crow, Rihanna, Melissa Etheridge, Miley Cyrus, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara and LeeAnn Rimes.

dude all the singers were GREAT except for miley cyrus she killed it with her nasal vocals!! but i guess great purpose just next time they should not think of miley to sing with a whole bunch of great vocalists!!
who cares if u cant hear miley.. and who cares who sounds the best. these ladies are getting together to do a good thing and support a good cause. isnt that a good enough reason to listen to the song.. not just because “miley’s” in it!?
therefore.. i totally agree with the last 3 posts. atleast some ppl get the actual point and meaning of the song. a great song to a great cause!!

is for charity this means that these stars are doing it form their own time and not get paid, so leave miley alone. she might not be able to sing that well that doesnt matter

I bought the video on iTunes last night and thought it was very good. I enjoyed it thoroughly and plan to give what I can to SU2C. The singers are all very talented. As the youngest one, perhaps Miley lacks the advantage of life experience, which is apparent in her performance. But, can we be a little tolerant? THIS WAS FOR THE BENEFIT OF FINDING A CURE FOR CANCER. Shall we grow up and stop demeaning those whom we don’t like? Thats how we start wars!
My personal favorite is Fergie. But that is just my individual taste. I think all the others turned in an excellent performance.
I think Carrie and Beyonce did the BEST!!! OMG, Miley ruined it she sounded like a little kid, all the others out powered her. She shouldn’t have been it, but for everyone else nice job. If you can’t hear her voice theres something wrong because she sang horrible, its all you could her when she sang alone . She sings like two lines before the chorus. I LOVE Carrie and Beyonce!!

I like the live version better. I think it had a little bit more oof and passion. And you can he hear miley she sings the same part she did in the live performance. Who cares about her anyway?
