Pirates of the Caribbean hunk Orlando Bloom helps his model girlfriend Miranda Kerr with her helmet strap before taking her out for a spin on his BMW R1200 GS motorcycle in New York City on Thursday morning.
What a cute couple!
Orly, 31, and Miranda, 25, was seen leaving their downtown Manhattan apartment before riding off together.
“Miranda gripped Orlando very tightly as they sped around SoHo together,” an onlooker said.

OMG people it is all gossip, real,fake, pr or in love; no one cares really. It is meant to be fun and just to complain about something. On this thread it’s orlando on another thread brad, matt, kate however. It is silly to claim that people think the world will end if he don’t dump the model. No life will go on and people will still complain. Different boards look at the realtionship from different views, kaboom, olover,delpha,bolgsworth all have their say. No one is saying you must take a side it is your choice. You have an option with what you want, a milk sake, fries or bread it’s your choice. If people want to remark on how hot they are then so be it. If they want to say showance then so be it. Everyone have a right to focking talk sh*t.

I used to think Orlando would be the next big British star but he’s not an actor, he’s a celebrity. Look at someone like Daniel Ratcliffe, he’s done so much better than Orlando! Orlando is just a baby no matter how old he is!!!
I am from Australia, & let me tell you, the Australian press ignore Orlando!! The last thing in the papers was a pic of Miranda & they said “Miranda & her boyfriend!” Orlando isn’t even mentioned by name! He has ruined his career, not with her, but with his constant partying and drugging - no one in mainstream Hollywood wants to work with him!!!
Think about it -w hen was the last time anyone said anything nice about him? Have your own opinion, but it shoul;d at least be based upon fact.
Orlando has worked with some of the best in the business, and these people are willing to work with him more than once. So your statement about no one wanting to work with him is ridiculous. I would call Ridley Scott, Cameron Crowe, Gore Verninsky, johnny Depp, Eric Bana, etc. “mainstream Hollywood”, wouldn’t you? There have never been any legitimate rumors about drug use. Disgruntled fans have dropped hints, but no one who would be in a position to know have even HINTED at drug use. He is known as a consumate professional on set. You don’t get that reputation by being a druggie.
And of course this plays right along with the hypocrites that feel he can’t do anything right. They complain about him selling out to Hollywood when he is making big, blockbuster movies, yet when he turns to small, important indies to tell a story, he is called a has-been. So you tell me, WHAT DO YOU WANT HIM TO DO??
Oh, and for the record, he didn’t go to Sarajevo to get work. That’s where the movie takes place, and where it will be filmed. He is bringing work TO Sarajevo, not the other way around.
Re #79, those people worked with him once, not again. Johnny Depp stopped saying nice thing about him after the first POTC. AND no way is Ridley Scott ever going to work with him again! Disney wont’ touch him. He was rude to his fans on the set of POTC3, even Johnny stayed every day for 10-15 min after filming but Orlando covered his face & ran to his car!! What are you, his mother? Get real! If ANYONE in Hollywood had given him a legitimate job offer the past 2 years he would have taken it! But no, he’s spent his time chasing independent movies - because that’s all he has. You can’t find one person who will say something nice about him in LA anymore. I have a friend who works at a studio (admittedly, on the admin side, not the production side) & she hears a lot of insider gossip, and believe me, his 15 minutes are UP!!
Oh, BTW, I heard some insider stuff about why he dropped out of An Education.
What do I want him to do? Well, right now, he could just fade away. But I used to be a ‘fan’ (around the POTC 1 & Troy era), & back then I would have said I wanted him to keep his head down, work hard, and try to be a better actor. Just think, though, why would an actor get signed, be announced by the producers, go to the set for about 1 week, and then exit, with the producers’ blessings? Schedule conflict? Uh, the next thing he did after that was appear in Palm Springs with his girlfriend. Some scheduling conflict, eh? There’s 2 reasons why an actor gets let go from a movie after being formally announced, neither of them are good for their career. By the way, what’s wrong with saying this movie is not a big Hollywood production? Why would anyone continue to say anything about previous co-stars after the movies have been released? Russell Crowe & DiCaprio are the only repeaters with Ridley Scott, so I guess Nicolas Cage, Denzel Washington, & Anthony Hopkins are in the doghouse with Bloom?
Bloom was not rude to fans on the PotC 3 set. The fans who complained about his “rudeness” also said they were there to see Depp. Funny, yes? Bloom had to get to the airport to make a late night show taping - ie, he was going from work to work.
As for chasing indie movies, I hope I don’t have to point out how many an actor dipped into that pool? During which time they were also written off? And what’s wrong with indie movies? Better acting and writing are in those than in many a big Hollywood productions.
Since you hate his lifestyle, maybe you should become a fan of a monk or Amish person?

Ridley worked with Orlando in Black Hawk Down, signing him after seeing an early screening ofthe Moria scene in LOTR. Signed him loooong before he bacame famous because he liked what he saw. He then recommended him to Gore Verbinshy for the role of Will Turner. Orlando wasn’t going to take the part, but Geoffrey Rush, who was filming Ned Kelley with Orlando urged him to do it. If Geoffrey didn’t like him, he would never have said a word. I guess that you will remember that Ridley hired him again for Kingdom of Heaven. Not only hiring him, but trusting him with the lead role. If Ridley had any doubts about his work ethic, he would never have done that. Orlando got wonderful reviews for th eDirector’s cut. I guess that you didn’t read those. And Johnny, to this day, always has something nice to say about Orlando. He doesn’t use the common, Hollywood phrases like “it was nice working with him” Johnny’s comment was “I love Orlando. I would love tp work with him again” He didn’t have to say that, but he did. He also didn’t have to invite Orlando to dinner on his boat as often as he did. If Orlando was a “druggie”, Johnny would never have let him near his children.. Liam Neeson, not only worked with Orlando in Kingdom of Heaven, he is going to be working with him again in Fools Rush In, and The Red Circle, if they ever get that script right. And not only is Liam working with him, but he is trusting him as a producer, to get things done. And as for the POTC set, even the writers stuck up for him, Saying that he had appointments to get to, and that it was unfortunate that it made Orlando look bad. Olando has a history of being kind and generous to fans. When he can, he always stops. Look at the effort that he put in during his play. Even on nights where he was exhausted or sick, he always stopped to sign. And don’t even start with your “insider” crap. There can be a million reasons that an actor pulls out of a production. NOTHING with Orlando points to drugs. He has one of the best reputations in the business. Nothing you have said is true.
So it basically comes down to the fact that you are a sad little person, who is pissed off because Orlando’s life is so much better than yours. That won’t change, you mat as well accept it.

I have wondered about why OB dropped out of An education. I don’t think they were filming yet because Alfred Molina hadn’t even arrived for the read-thru’s. Had he really been on set for a week? I do know that several pap sightings followed almost immediately after the director/writer blogged about OB leaving the production. So he was seen out and about in Hollywood.
Yeah, drugs did cross my mind, it seems to be an easy leap of logic. Except that if he was on set for a week already then he obviously had just passed the insurance drug test and was certified “drug free” for insurance purposes. I’m more apt to believe that his part was cut back too much or there were reworked scenes that he objected to and he had a right of refusal in his contract. All of this may end up being Dominic Cooper’s lucky break, especially after good roles in the History boys, Mama Mia and the Duchess. OB might end up regretting that he let this role go. However, he did have the role if he wanted it.
Another aspect of the drug issue. I watched the videos before and after that car accident he had. I have to admit I was surprised that OB’s police-ordered blood tests came back clean. If there was behavior which seemed drug-influenced that was it. He was also cleared of DUI/DWI issues when he had that fender-bender with the scooter driver in London. These are two definite times when casual drug use/excessive alcohol consumption could have been exposed and he was clean. Doesn’t mean he never, just that he’s never been identified as a user.
Like the others, I would love to hear more from your friend at the studio. Now that’s good gossip!

It is common for other actors to give endorsements about co-stars. But these endorsements go above and beyond. Just to see the way that these people interact with him speaks volumes. I distinctly remember the first Pirates premiere in Disneyland. Johnny didn’t just hug Orlando, with an added man-hug pat on the back. He EMBRACED him. He even cradled Orlando’s head with his hand, drawing him even closer. He wouldn’t have gone that far if the feeling wasn’t genuine. Eric Bana still calls him his “little brother”. And Viggo was so affectionate with him that it sparked rumors (remember those days, girls?).
Fools Rush In, and The Red Circle may never be made. But lots of movies are never made, even though they look promising. But your argument doesn’t disprove the fact that Liam seems very willing to work with Orlando again and again. He must respect him a great deal.
KOH was not a bomb. You are ignoring the fact that it earned over 200 million in theaters worldwide, sold well in DVD, and if I heard correctly, was one of the best selling Directors Cuts in history. Plus the fact that he received many very good reviews from well respected critics.
His fanbase does seem to have more than their fair share of hateful people. Most of their theories are downright insane.

Where are you getting your facts? That movie performed nowhere near expectation of the studio. Based on the amount they paid to make it, about $150 mil, they just barely made their money back. And these reviews from “well respected critics”? Please. That movie put the nail in the coffin of his “leading man” status because he proved his acting isn’t strong enough to carry a movie. Liam Neeson saved that movie so Bloom owes him! His fans go on and on about all this money he made in all these huge blockbusters as if that equals to success, yet they don’t talk about him having Oscar potential. If were going to be superficial about his career, shouldn’t they brag about all his awards too? Razzies don’t count.
I liken Bloom to some of these spoiled professional athletes. They get a ton a money, live a crazy lifestyle, are surrounded crazy hype about their mediocre talents and then can’t even deliver a championship to the people who supported them. Disappointing.
Johnny Depp and Leo Dicaprio have both been nominated for Oscars, but they still haven’t won. Does that mean that they can’t get out of the playoffs and their fans should desert them?
As for Orlando, he gave a wonderful, deep, heartbreaking performance in Haven. And was nominated for Best Supporting actor in Australia for Ned Kelley. These are my two favorite performances. The big movies are fun. But the smaller movies are where he shines. This is why so many of his fans are excited about these new projects. We know that he has it in him. We just want the rest of the world to see beyond his beautiful face.
Rent Haven and Ned Kelley. If you watch with an open mind, and not a jaundiced eye, you will see what we are talking about.

I should no doubt keep my mouth shut, but I figure what the heck. It really doesn’t matter that much to me, but I might as well drop what I have of knowledge in. Believe me, It makes no matter to me if it is believed or not, just want to add some sanity to the whole mess.
This is not a “true love” relationship. Most relationships hyped in Hollywood are not. They are created and portrayed as fairytale type romances, because that is what most fans want to read about and to believe. Most of them are convenient and consist of a basic mutual attraction, and a bit of the f*uck buddy mentality. OB and MK started as a little hole in the wall romance, kindled in no small part by the excitement of cheating on MK’s boyfriend. Orlando is basically an ok guy, but he does love feeling he is irrespirable and sweeping a girl off her feet, especially when she is supposedly with another guy is half the fun for him. The relationship got old pretty fast for him, but Miranda isn’t so easy to get rid off. The fact that he broke up the relationship, and made oblique kind of promises left him in a position where he didn’t feel he could just dump her. Believe me he wants out. But the sex is good, and so far he isn’t required to spend a lot of time with her. At this point they are using each other. She gives him a cover as a girlfriend, and he lets her drop his name and use him for her career. Neither one of them have made any exclusive commitment to the thing they have going. He is really getting bored with her, and is very away of what a user she is. At this point he doesn’t even like her much. It won’t be all that much longer before he finds away out of it. He has his team working on it. I think she is aware the time is limited, and is using him and his name for all it is worth while she can. None of his friends think much of her, and will gleefully celebrate her fall from grace. Most of us think that the whole thing has made him grow up a bit, and we are hoping he is more careful in the future. Quite honestly Miranda isn’t exactly normal, she has some major head case problems, and OB has been discovering it for a while. That is why he is being careful in extracting himself from the whole mess. He is a bit nervous about what kind of scenes she will throw, not to mention what kind of secrets she will spew. He has his faults, vanity is one of them, but basically he doesn’t go out of his way to hurt others.
