This just in from Women’s Wear Daily! Not surprisingly, the exclusive photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s newborn twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, sold big. How big? 2.6 million copies big!
According to the trade journal, “The issue is the biggest seller in seven years, and is the fourth highest newsstand seller in the magazine’s 35-year history, behind the Sept. 11 issue (4.1 million single copies), the issue covering Princess Diana’s death (3 million) and the one covering the death of John F. Kennedy Jr. (2.8 million). The June 19, 2006 issue with the exclusive baby pictures of Brad and Angelina’s first daughter, Shiloh, moved 2.2 million newsstand copies (perhaps the extra Pitt-Jolie baby provided a bigger draw this time).”

Brad always supports his movies and this probably fit his and Angelina schedule.
Clooney will probably do the US opening plus meet the press for BAR. Probably even a late night tv appearance. I don’t think Brad is doing any of that.

Plus, Brad will be killing 2 birds with one stone - I’m sure he’ll be goiong to New Orleans while he’s on this side of the pond. They’re trying to finish the first NO house by Aug 29, so it may be that Brad does the VFF on Aug 26 & 27, then turns around and goes to NO at the end of the week. I think BAR shows at TIFF on Sep 5, so maybe he’ll spend a week in NO without his “peeps”. JK…he’d probably have withdrawal symptons after the first day or two by himself…

gotta see BAR (besides because of Brad), the cinematography is from one of my favorites, Emmanuel Lubezki “El chivo”. I just love his work. Some movies he has worked in have been more “poetic”, I wanto to see how he worked with the coens.
A few days to go before we can see Brad and Angie (keep fingers crossed) on the red carpet again. We fans here miss Angie sightings. I have a hunch she’ll surprise us!!!!!!!!

Way way WAY OT: Oh my god, Misty May-Treanor is on the new season of Dancing With the Stars! She just won gold in beach volleyball at the olympics and I already know I’ll be pulling for her to win, I can’t wait! Cloris Leachman, Susan Lucci, Maurice Green (an olympic track and field medalist), Warren Sapp, Kim Kardashian, Lance Bass, Toni Braxton, Ted McGinley, Rocco DiSpirito, Jeffrey Ross, Brooke Burke, and Cody Linley from Hannah Montana are also on the show. This is gonna be fun!

That article on Desperate Women from JM was very interesting and accurate.
I have known at least three women who operate like that and recognize the strategy well. One woman I know took on the guy’s favourite sport, befriended the guy’s mother, his best friend and his girlfriend. He couldn’t turn left or right without running into her. STILL he crawled through her tightly woven net and made his escape.
It just goes to show - if he’s just not that into you, that’s that.
I purchased 3 since I am a huge fan of the family.

I glimpsed the D10 (from E) over the weekend and saw that, like every other media outlet, E is still trying to capitalize off Brad and Angelina.
The news report was trying to make much ado about Brad and _ both being at the TIFF, heading it with something salacious like “Brad and _ Reunite”!! Poor Sal looked embarassed having to report such a non-story. Anything for an opportunity to use those two names.
Brad is a father of six. If he was any deeper into Angelina he would be inside her (full time, that is). Are they going to have to explain to their children that every once in a while Daddy’s name is going to be mentioned with a woman he was married to way back when? Can you imagine “No, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne, there’s no need for nightmares, darlings. Daddy is not going to grab you and run off to this woman you don’t know.”?

According to Fashion Week Daily, Brad Pitt photographed Angelina Jolie and the six kiddies at their chateau in France last week for the November cover of W magazine!!
Ange in a photo alone with 6 kids? She must be a super wrangler!
This is reportedly Poppa Pitt’s ‘inaugural turn’ creating a magazine cover, although photography has been a longtime hobby of his.
This also marks the second time W has scored a highly-coveted Pitt/Jolie exclusive.
