This just in from Women’s Wear Daily! Not surprisingly, the exclusive photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s newborn twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, sold big. How big? 2.6 million copies big!
According to the trade journal, “The issue is the biggest seller in seven years, and is the fourth highest newsstand seller in the magazine’s 35-year history, behind the Sept. 11 issue (4.1 million single copies), the issue covering Princess Diana’s death (3 million) and the one covering the death of John F. Kennedy Jr. (2.8 million). The June 19, 2006 issue with the exclusive baby pictures of Brad and Angelina’s first daughter, Shiloh, moved 2.2 million newsstand copies (perhaps the extra Pitt-Jolie baby provided a bigger draw this time).”

Hey Guli. Enjoying my Friday night and laughing at the fake AJ fan. The hen got its butt kick on the Mayer thread and now is on this thread. You don’t mess with “Your body is a wonderland” fans. I saw the Dark Knight for the first time. I told TDK nuts I will get around to it. Other than that, everything is great.
Up here in Toron(doh) I am reading my just delivered entertainment mag I get with my cable movie subscription. There is a short but interesting piece on Angie and Brad and their relationship with the different film festivals. The well know writer, Peter Howell (though no fan) never the less has noted that the presence of Angie and Brad at any film festival denotes its ‘A’ list status so much so that their absence can have the detrimental effect of calling into question the status of a film festival sans Brad and Angie. The Toronto Film Festival is around the corner and fans and non fans are anxiously awaiting. Power couple indeed.
