OlderKatie Holmes Bows Out In Gold
Katie Holmes walks into rehearsals Friday morning wearing a new pair of gold flats with bow accents in New York City.
The 29-year-old actress has been rehearsing for her much-anticipated Broadway debut in the Arthur Miller play All My Sons.
Unfortunately for Katie, ticket sales for the show are thus far “definitely off from what the production hoped,” a source tells MSNBC. “You can’t say it’s the economy because there are shows, like Mamma Mia that are selling out. It’s not that Katie’s bad in the part. She’s good enough. The producers are just getting the feeling people still want to view Katie as sweet little Joey Potter.”
Whatever haters, I already bought my ticket. Go buy yours!

hmmmm…..first suri wears gold shoes EVERY SINGLE DAY….now maybe katie does too….it’ll only be a matter of time before they are in head to toe gold SPACE SUITS! silver space suits just aren’t good enough for this family…those would be for the rest of us common and glib folks.

I doubt that most of the people posting above are capable of recognizing talent or beauty. Get over your jealousy. It’s very unattractive. Katie Holmes doesn’t have a lead role. Katie was put in that play because of her noteriety. She has no Broadway experience yet she’s all the producer talked about when they interviewed him months back. They were counting on her “celebrity” status to sell tickets. Is it fair that the media’s targeting her? No, but was it fair to the others when she was being promoted as the play’s headliner? No. As someone who’s continuously on the Internet, surely you know that the media will do what they have to do to get people to read their stuff. If you have a problem with anyone, it should be the producer of this play

To NUMBER # 64 THE OTHER VICTORIA…. I always admit when I’m wrong, or need to think of other opinions closely….. You are right that it is not fair about the other actors taking a second seat, sort of. Even though I have always been partial to Katie Holmes since she was on Dawson’s Creek, the other actors and actresses have NOT been billed and followed around liked she has every day. Nor has she had Broadway experience like the others. AGREED, I’m sure the producers were hoping Katie would bring in the people, but I would think the other stars would be power packed enough on their own to do just that WITHOUT Katie….. They ALL have had Broadway time…. and know the ropes. I just think all the hateful comments and bashing of her, no matter HOW she got the part is not neccessary, especially when it comes to Suri a precious child. What did she do? I hope the play does well in the end, for all involved though, no matter what the stories are, because of the hard work of everyone involved, especially us who posts everyday.. ( LOL ).. How could anyone be jealous of Katie Holmes #58. She’s a brainwashed robot stuck in a cult that will ruin her life and married to a has been freak who will divorce her soon enough and probably take her baby away. Her movies don’t make money, she’s a crappy actress AND her play is not selling tickets. Oh yea. That’s the life I want. LOL. Thanks but no thanks.

On top of everything else, she also doesn’t know how to dress for the weather either. It was 84 degrees in New York this morning. In most of her pics she looks like an ass not a “fashion icon”. No one is NY is dressing like her. She has no taste and money doesn’t buy class. She might have money but she has no class.
She has no way to maintain body temperature, which makes you wonder if the longstanding rumors of bulemia are true. She used to wear winter coats filming in the summer heat of North Carolina.
She wasn’t promoted as the play’s headliner, #64. She’s billed on fourth and she shares her face on most of the poster covers.
And how do you know she was put in the play for her notoriety? Yes. She has no Broadway experience but neither does the first actor who was just cast in a role on Broadway.
That was as mean as it was untrue, #71. She loves her life and there’s been nothing to suggest otherwise.
