Katie Holmes is Fedora Friendly
Katie Holmes adds a new touch to her now-typical boyfriends jeans look, topping off her outfit with a stylish black fedora in New York City on Saturday morning.
The 29-year-old actress headed into rehearsals to prepare for her Broadway debut in the the Arthur Miller play “All My Sons”.
Katie accessorized with her usual Chloe “Partay” handbag and a new pair of gold flats with toe pads.
Earlier this week, Jennifer Aniston also recently hopped on the “boyfriend jeans look“.

I just feel pity for her at this point. She’s lost all credibility in Hollywood. No one takes her seriously as an actress. It’s all quite sad. She did have some promise 3 years ago. She was never anyone’s idea of a talented actress., but she did that Joey Potter girl next door thing capably. Now? She doesn’t even have that. She’s one half of a freak show. Katie, was it really worth it? Throwing away your career and identity? By the way, the hat looks ridiculous on her. Anyone that compares her to Audrey Hepburn needs to put the crack pipe down. Audrey was a true style icon. She was Givenchy’s muse. I doubt Katie is anyone’s muse.

All of Katie Holmes’ fashion “looks” lately have been disasters; she’s borrowing from other women, but chooses clothing and accessories that make her look ridiculous, while the other women appear to feel comfortable in their clothes. Too many times Katie looks like she’s dressing up in mommy’s clothing, and wearing her husband’s pants is just plain dumb, they aren’t flattering.
There’s an expression: Clothes don’t make the man (woman). We all seem to place value on someone’s appearance, and not who they really are. Maybe Katie should sit back, take a breath, and re-evaluate what she’s doing with her life right now, because she’s all over the place.
