If so, that explains your response.
Never defend - always attack is $cientology attitude to criticism.
But in a world where everyone can access the internet and fact check for themselves - this no longer really works. Does it?

$cientologist or not, you really need to be careful about calling a stranger on a celebrity forum a nazi. I think that’s an absurd and out of context remark with absolutely no grounds - as explained in the above post containing the definition of a bigot.

What? The internet and the courts are heaving with factual information concerning the cult and its practices.

Tom Cruise and to a lesser degree Katie Holmes are open $cientology advocates. They should be held accountable for the misery they help inject into people’s lives when they misrepresent this cult as a benign belief system.

Then when you are fully informed about how *non celebrity* $cientologists have had their lives destroyed and how $cientology rolls out the bigotry cry at anyone who questions their practises - I will be more than happy to discuss the reality of this organisation with you.

If you’re a $cientologists you probably wont be allowed to view the site I’m recommending - if that’s the case you seriously need to reflect on that. All of the $cieno study tech is available for free online. You don’t have to go into debt to pay for it and there are many ex members who will help you if you decide to leave and start your life again.

My my. People are entitled to their opinion unless they disagree with yours seems to be the theme of some comments. As for knowing what scientology teaches what exactly is that? I don’t mean in a general way, but in specifics.

Scientology do not believe mental illness exists. This is based on the teachings of Lafayette Ron Hubbard. That would be the very same L.Ron Hubbard who was on psychotic medications when he died because he was a raging maniac. Why was the leadership prescribing those kind of drugs for Hubbard. For his health or to keep him under control? Hubbard was in no condition to make those decisions on his own and his wife was long gone. If you want to get a clue, try reading about the investigation of his death. That information is available on the internet including police reports and the coroner’s report. Hubbard might not have made it to his grave on his own.

I don’t care what adults do of their own free will, but when it comes to kids, I do have concerns. I made the point of Hubbard’s death to show how hypocritical they are on major issues. I don’t like their double talk, code words and general vagueness and sensitivity about discussing certain matters, but I agree it’s their right as it is Cruise’s right.

We all remember how Cruise went off on Matt Lauer because he dared to say that he knew people who were helped by anti-depressant drug therapy. Lauer was not being disrespectful to him, but trying to understand Cruises objection to the drugs. .

I almost forgot that little scene of Tom Cruise saluting L.Ron’s picture like he was Hitler. That was rather disturbing.. They are very specific about what they want revealed to the ‘outside’ world. The videotaping of that ‘inner circle’ celebration really upset them. Then there was that now famous video Cruise made that was only for the eyes of other Scientologists. You’d think they’d want the world to know how they can help them in wonderful ways. I wouldn’t take them lightly. Nicole Kidman was a smart cookie; keeping her mouth closed is the best thing she could have done for herself.

I wonder if Tom has ever wished he’d just went to a a few Tony Robbins seminars.

in my prior comment I know there will be those who say, the doctor actually prescribed the medications. Maybe technically, but remember Scientolgists don’t believe in mental illness. Hubbard was under the control and care of the leadership of the group. They could have refused to let him have psychotic medications on a religious basis. Read the account and see what went on around his death.

thank you; you’re one of the few here who actually makes sense. i know very little about scientology; and what i hear is very strange. may be what you say is true; the reason scientology is against mental illness is because hubbard was psychotic. from what i understand psychotics not agree that they have a problem. it’s everyone else. aren’t aliens somehow involved in this religion. like i said i don’t know.

but what i do know is that people have a right to believe what they want to believe. even if it goes against the mainstream. early christians were thought by the romans to be involved in a cult. anyway tom is not the only on in hollywood who believes. john travolta for one does. and there are others.

Do you know about how the cult attempted to garnish Jewish support in their campaign to become a recognised religion in Germany? And how that attempt failed?
It was referred to by the American and German governments as an insult to Holocaust victims.

Here are some other comments about the $cientology campaign:

$cientology has been likened to the nazis and not just a few times.
In Germany it is considered a totalitarian organization - and for good reason. That’s what you’re defending.
