Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale (in Sass & Bide) keep it cute at Disney’s High School Musical 3: Senior Year Ultimate Fan Pep Rally at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday.
Zac’s on-screen and off-screen girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens could not make this event, but will undoubtedly be present as the HSM3 promotional tour continues to roll on.
The pair also took photos with director Kenny Ortega and producer Barry Rosenbush.

Think about this: Would YOU be acting this cuddly with your best friend’s boyfriend, while you yourself also had a boyfriend, unless you had /some kind of/ attraction to the boyfriend of your best friend? If you ask me, these two just act two darn adorable and cozy for them to /not/ ‘like like’each other at least a /tiny/ bit. But I for one would /not/ be acting this way with my best friends boyfriend….seriously…think about it people!

I hate to burst all you little Ashley fans hearts but Ashley knows exactly what she is doing. A thread about Ashley maybe 30 hits, add Jared maybe 60. Now Zac and Ashley 200 hits. She does everything for the publicity A vacation with your parents, boyfriend and the paps? Shopping with 15 year Miley (it was before her birthday) who suddenly a good friend.Even down to being bffs with Vanessa. She once said she babysat for Zac, now she’s in love with him. I doubt it. I’d feel sorry for poor Jared if I didn’t believe he’s in on thing. The way she orders him around and kisses after making sure the cameras are rolling. Even when she got her nose job she was everywhere talking about it. She just looking out for her future, if her friends get hurt along the way so be it.

how long have these two been in the business? at least 10 years. they both should know what kind of **** this would cause. both of them are being disrespectful to vanessa. zac of all people should know better. show how much he cares about vanessa’s feelings.
older and wiser you have it all wrong…Ashley doesn’t do things purposely for publicity. Her nose job was cuz she had breathing problems, and she can hug Zac if she wants to! JUst cuz he’s dating Zanessa doesn’t mean he can’t have fun with his friends that are girls too, him and Ashley have been friends for a looooong time, they met on the set of Summerland so no DUH she’s comfortable with him! And I can’t even believe you said that about her shopping with Miley- SHE AND MILEY ARE /FRIENDS/ FRIENDS GO SHOPPING TOGETHER, DUUUUUUUUHHHHH!!!!!

Wow! IS it me or is everything getting out of control, I think I’ll come back after the arguement is over. For some odd reasons, you guys are getting worked for a tiny issue. they both are in a relationship, but they are like the best friends. Ashley once stated that Zac was like her younger brother, and to me that’s exactly how the hug looks like. it looks like a brotherly + sisterly hug. I can show you pics where she has hugged corbin, lucas, and chucky for that matter.

You know Ashley and Vanessa have even hugged each other like this, does that mean there is something going on between them as well? And what about the hugs between Ashley and Monique, or Monique and Vanessa?
As a matter of fact I once hugged my friends husband like that right in front of her and you know what she did? NOTHING, because she knew it did not maen anything.
People need to stop blaming Zac, Vanessa, and Ashley for the beliefs of their fans. The three of them are friends and have the utmost respect for each other.
Too bad their respective fans can’t take a lesson from the three of them and respect each other.

couldn’t have said it better myself. what i wonder is, if ashleys always like this, then why dont we see her act this way all the time, even when vanessa is around? there’s something fishy about the fact that shes suddenly uber close to zac the minute van goes away. ask yourself this, would she do this if vanessa was nearby?

Okay here are my two cents. Care to read if you will.
FIRST OF ALL. This is incredibly ridiculous. I’ve hugged my dad multiple times. Does that mean something’s “going on?” And if you answered yes, you’re a sicko. They are FRIENDS! Sheesh. Have you not noticed how they are POSING for a camera?! See, if the pap caught them backstage staring lovingly into each other’s eyes then maybe we’d have a problem here… but its for a picture.
Second of all, He’s not even looking at her! Its almost like he believes she’s medusa and if he looked into her eye’s he’d turn into stone.
Yeah i don’t get why Ash looked up like they were going to kiss or something but yeah she’s a bit odd.. but Zac just kept looking at the camera. And they were probably in that stance for like 2 seconds.
We all need to CHILL. If Zac ever wanted to be with Ashley he would have a long time ago seeing as how they knew each other way before HSM. He likes tan, brunettes with the name that starts with a V and ends with anessa.
Oh but did you see Ashley and KENNY together? Huh? Looks like they’d make a good pair… The way they are just SO SO close. You better watch out Jared. Looks like you got competition.

His body language is stiff and forced. I agree with the “Older and Wiser”. She’s all over him because she knows it going to get attention… i.e. a page in People or Us mag not to mention the tabloids. She’s probably drop Jared like a rock if she thought she had a chance with this guy if only for the drama and the attention alone.
Personally, I’m tired of looking at her jacked up face. She doesn’t nor will she ever have anything on Hudgens who is unquestionable more beautiful, classy and graceful.
