it amazes me how ignorant some people can be. in case some of you don’t already know, zac and ashley are best friends, even before zac and vanessa started dating. some people seem to lose sight of the fact that beneath all the fame are regular people trying to lead a regular life. its perfectly normal for two best friends to hug especially given the fact that its so hard for them to even hang out anymore without the media going wild and coming up with one rumor after another. zac and vanessa are at a point in their relationship where no matter what happens they can work through anything. its obvious that they trust each other to hang out with other people and if some people can’t see that i don’t know how they can call themselves fans, because fans respect the decisions of whoever they look up to. zac and vanessa have been going strong for three years now, a picture of, of all things, two friends hugging is not going to change that. i think its about time that zac, vanessa and ashley are recognized as the mature adults they have grown into.

i think ashley is little falling for him maybe they are just friends but first pic is like they re couple in which ashley is in love and zac isn he feels little weird i think cause she s looking him and he like probably moved face it s weird and to all zashley fans i just wanna say they are friends and thats all and zanessa is way cuter i must say vanessa is really prety zac s hot but they put too much makeup on him and he s not in love cause in those hugs he looks pretty uncomfortable yeah he s smiling but he moved head so all in all to much news about this even i m fan but where s johnny deep and others who i love

1.I’ve looked at all the pics in the gallery,and other than the hugging ones,Zac and Ashley have no contact at all.

2.He doesn’t have his arms around her,hold her hand or even look at her in any other pics.

3.This is the big one….these’s no eye contact.We all know that if Vanessa was there,there would be soooo much ‘eye sex’we would feel like we were intruding on a private moment.

4.These’s NO WAY that in the time between the TCA’s,Zac spending time with Vanessa on tour,and this weekend ,that a three year relationship could fall apart.

and for those of you who believe zac lacks sensitivity, i beg to differ. he’s a guy who counts many girls as his friends, and he’s not afraid to show that friendship in front of the cameras. his relationship with V is private, and he has emphatically stated that numerous times, once even going as far as to describe it as “scared ground.” This is the reason you don’t see them all over each other when they are out and about or at public events. BOTH of them strive to keep their private life private, they don’t flaunt it b/c its no one’s business but there own. its an attitude that i believe deserves respect, and one that shows that they are wise beyond their years.

I’m sorry but I have to agree with older and wiser. I don’t see anything wrong with the hugs, they’re just friends but being seen with Zac or Vanessa does boost her publicly. She’s been the longest in the business and she knows the value of publicity and uses it the most of the cast.

Proof?

She hardly poses with her boyfriend on the red carpet or at events because he is unknown.

She is friends with Miley but was never seen publicly with her in over a year till the day her film: Picture this was showing on telly when they posed for the paps.

She is partnered with Lucas in hsm but in all things hsm would rather pose with Zac and Vanessa as they are more well-known.

I’m sorry for being skeptical but it can’t have escaped her notice that she didn’t feature in any noms for TCA nor in the guest list even though she was in town, she’s not been invited to MTV VMA awards but Zac and Vanessa are attending and presenting. She’s yet to have a solo adult mag photoshoot or teen magazine cover and she just endorses Ecko (with Vanessa) and degree girl.

Ashley has been longer in the business and has produced more work than either Zac or Vanessa but unfortunately they seem to be making a quicker inroad to adult hollywood and are simply being more recognised possibly because of Vanessa’s fashion and endorsements.

The two events we have seen her attend are hsm related (and the premier of her sister’s movie), at the Alma awards, a reporter even called her Vanessa which was a pity.

The truth is that she and Vanessa are friends, she is with Jared and Vanessa and Zac are tight but generating harmless speculation about her and Zac will give her a much needed boost.

Check the post counts on other Ashley related threads, they are always in the 40s, even Selena and Demi now get more post counts than Ashley but this, this is helping raise her profile at least for now.

My fear for her and her fear I think is that come HSM 3 promo, whether they like it or not, Zac and Vanessa will overshadow everyone else because of their popularity and fans, their fans have multiplied since hsm 2. This is her opportunity to shine and be noticed undisturbed so let her be. I just hope it doesn’t backfire.

i like ashley but less than vanessa a lot less. zac and vanessa looks a lot more cute than them together. and i agree with #157. you might think that i am not a ashley fan but i am on zac efron’s thread not ashleys. i never go on hers.
