Guardian has photo from Burn After Reading photocall in Venice today.

Do you think Pitt is anti-war like Clooney or pro-war like Jolie?

why don’t you ask him?

People has an article on the Burn after reading press conference.

Please ignore the haters who are here to cause trouble and spout bull.

You got your facts wrong again… poor thing…

Angelina isn’t pro-war, she’s anti-war.

What she is in favor is that the people that started the war and made up the mess, clean up before leaving. Not just because it’s their moral obligation, but because is on their best interests.

Meli thanks a lot for the pictures. Still hoping to see Angie later. Red carpet is not as exciting as when Brad & Angie are present. God bless them.

Brad Pitt: ‘The Twins Are Fine

Two months after of the birth of Knox and Vivienne, Brad Pitt told reporters at a Venice press conference Wednesday, “The twins are fine.”

He then raised his water glass like a toast, and took a sip.

Pitt and his pal George Clooney are in Italy’s City of Bridges to promote their film Burn After Reading, which has its world premiere Wednesday night at Venice’s annual film festival.

Pitt had arrived Tuesday with sons Maddox and Pax, while Clooney - who owns a home on Lake Como - told reporters he’d been in Italy “for a couple of months.”

The pair joked their way through the press conference, knocking back personal questions with charm - and a few winks.

Asked if he planned on getting married and having children, Clooney, 47, said: “I am so surprised to hear that question. This honestly is the first time I’ve ever been asked that question. I’m getting married and having children today.”

Added 44-year-old Pitt: “And until then, I’ll be sharing mine with him.”

Then - in response to a question about how many kids were enough - Angelina Jolie’s other half wisecracked, “I’ll have two more by next year.”

Together an Awful LotClooney, who noted he and Pitt only had one scene together in Burn After Reading - which is the first movie from the Coen Brothers since their Oscar-winning No Country for Old Men - joked that his frequent costar was sitting at the opposite end of the dais “because there’s a restraining order.”

The pair did get serious, however, when asked whether they’d prefer to be in Venice or in Denver, for the Democratic National Convention.

“I’m happy to be here. This is one of my favorite places in the world to be,” Clooney said. “I like to watch the conventions on TV. I think the stars of the convention should be the people who are being elected.”

As for the upcoming election, he added, “I’m pessimistic, but I’m optimistic. I think it’s a very exciting time in American politics.”

Pitt chimed in: “I’m optimistic, too. It’s a vital time. It’s a defining time. I’m excited about where things are going.”

I know. She was spectacular, like I knew she would be. I love that line too. She had many good ones, including “were you just voting for me or for the cause.” She was great. Never give up never surrender that is Hillary. Like you Barrack was not my first choice. But I will support him 100%. Michele was also great the other night. I think she will make a phenomenal First Lady.

NEW THREAD!!!!!!!!!!

JuJu:

The Pottery Barn slogan of “You break it; You buy it” is not a foreign policy. If you read the Washington Post editorial, Jolie makes it clear that she supported the surge and supports the continued occupation of Iraq.

Jolie is an interventionist. Unfortunately, after reading the NoOnOurWatchProject.org site, one notes that Clooney and Pitt are interventionists as well. They implore both the US government and the UN to “solve” the crisis in Dafur with more violence.

If Clooney, Pitt and Jolie wish to be taken seriously then one needs to openly and honestly debate their positions and not hide behind terms like “humanitarian aid” or charity. Artists and entertainers should take an interest in public policy but they should be held to the same standard we hold religious and political leaders.

I support what Angie is saying about Iraq. Bush sent to troops in and destroyed that country and displaced a lot of families. These families did not ask for this. We should have never gone into that country. The country that invades and destroys a country is responsible for fixing it as the US did in Japan after bombing it.

As for Africa, there are million of people who have died from being killed, mutalated, raped, starved, developing HIV and malaria. Why do we allow this to happen, if you recall once in history this happened to another group of people, the Jewish nation under Hitler. The world got involved too late and so many died.

In America we say we believe in human rights. We protest to China about violation of human rights. This is happening in Africa every day and happening to millions of refugees around the world. Do we only pay attention to a few. As Angie once said if we do nothing, these are the young people when they grow up jorin the terrorist organizations.

Didn’t mean to preach but did not like what was charlotte corday is saying. At least these people are trying to help those who are less fortunate. What are you doing to help someone less fortunate then you? I had some friends that just returned from the Philipines and he said that he will never complain about lacking anything. He said that we are so blest in this country and don’t realize it.
