Katie Holmes Hits Up “August: Osage County”
Katie Holmes stops in to see a performance of August: Osage County, the Broadway transfer of the hit play by Tracy Letts from Steppenwolf Theatre in New York City on Tuesday night.
The 29-year-old actress rocked out a pair of brown five-strap shoes but strangely enough had bruises all over her knees.

So she wears jeans in the heat of day, but a short dress to show off her ugly, bruised knees at night, when it’s cooler temps? And she goes to a very public event like this, where the paparazzi have been waiting for her before?
A couple of nights ago it was a full tuxedo suit. The dresses she has worn in her “parade of frightful fashion” have been maxi length or knee-covering. Why, with those unsightly marks on her body, does she only NOW choose a short dress?
She is a FUH-reak.
If you’ve ever been in rehearsals for a play, you know that it is normal to become very exhausted and covered with bruises. During rehearsals, actors are very physical while trying to find the right movements to use througout the play, plus they often use wooden crates and boxes to stand in for scenery that is being built elsewhere. I also think the rolled-up, baggy jeans must’ve had something to do with rehearsals for her play and needing to wear loose-fitting clothes to be able to move freely while “blocking” and trying out staging ideas in the rehearsal room.
And to Truman, Jefferson, whoever you are this week…
Tom Cruise is currently on his third marriage. Mimi Rogers claims he never wanted sex. He divorced her when he became involved with his younger co-star, Kidman. He divorced Kidman, who was pregnant and miscarried at the time, and gave this cryptic reason on the record to reporters: “Nic knows what she did.” He finagled the date of filing so as to beat the California ten year marriage ruling, thus limiting the divorce settlement she could receive. He was involved with his co-star Penelope Cruz at the time. Every single person who gets close to him in his life is forced to sign contracts of confidentiality. With two weeks of meeting him, Katie Holmes mysteriously decided to fire every single member of her personal team, people who had been with her from day one of her career. She was assigned a Scientology handler who was that from that day forward a constant presence when Tom Cruise was not with her.
Is this guy a potential abuser? Who knows? But one thing he is most definitely not is some shining example of a man who is known for stable, normal relationships.

He divorced Kidman after the ten year mark, #78. (And you can’t rag on him for waiting or not waiting to divorce someone he no longer loves no matter how pregnant she is. As if it was his fault she miscarried.)
How do you know about these contracts? I’ve never heard of this.

If you’re trying to discourage me by telling me how Cruise is no saint, I KNOW THAT! But I won’t stop so give it up. It’s not my business who he falls for and who he breaks up with. And all those women only ever say nice things about him (unless Scientolgy is blackmailing them…)

Having completed the cult’s “False Purpose Rundown,” Rodriguez was granted the ability to identify any suppressive persons, like skeptics–even if friends or family–who interact with Holmes. I believe Rodriquez parents were high up in the organization and maybe even got indicted on some federal charges at one point.
Katie was not allowed anywhere without her. Jessica even took it upon herself to answer questiuons put out by reporters or stop interviews she didn’t like. ‘Tis the same period of time Katie coincidentally fell out of touch with all her old friends. Every single one.

I could really care less how she got the bruises. I bruise easily myself, so to predict Katie’s is a waste of time, and would be wrong, since none of us obviously was there when it happened. Katie looks good, and is appearing to have a good time when not in rehearsals. Good for her !! AND for the bruises, she obviously is NOT concerned herself about them, or is NOT concerned about rumors, or she would have worn pants..
Oh crap.. tomorrow it will be all over Page Six: “Tom finally loses it.. starts abusing Katie”. It’s not so interesting that she has bruises on her legs.. you should see my legs.. I have so many, it’s really not pretty.
