Mary-Kate Olsen leaves a Radiohead concert at the Hollywood Bowl in
Los Angeles on Monday.
The 22-year-old Olsen twin recently talked to Movie.ie about her latest role in The Wackness, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2008.
On her kissing scene with Sir Ben Kingsley: “It is all part of being an actress. But I was so in awe of Sir Ben I was more nervous about acting alongside him than I was about the kiss.”
On things she would like to do, but can’t, because of the public eye: “I would love to be able to swim in the ocean in Malibu. But that is asking for a bikini shot. That’s inviting something that I don’t want to happen. I don’t need to be on a Who’s Skinny, Who’s Fat, Who’s Looking Healthy, Who’s Not Eating?’ list.”
On her limits and what she won’t do: “I’m never going on the cover of Maxim - at all! I only go along with what I am comfortable with.”

These twins scare the shizz out of me, they look so freaky.

That sux. Papparazzi are so annoying. She won’t even go swimming for the fear of constant critiscism for her body? That’s terrible! What kind of world do we live in?
i applaud Mary Kate and Ashley. they grew up in front of millions of people. yes it was their choice, but it took guts to make mistakes for the world to see and judge you. they did good, earned all the money they made. and are learning about themselves and what they want in life. they are still young and will probably make a few more mistakes. everyone who has a young adult child, know at their age, there is still lots to learn about life. girls and boys who wear black makeup, black nail polish, piercings all over their face, and all black clothes with chains rips, and weird and vulgar logos etc. now that is scary! granted it’s their life style choice, it’s not just what the average adult thinks is normal. and the kids usually grow out of it and realize how silly they looked.

i don’t think anyone cares about mary kate and ashley anymore, i certainly don’t. they dress terribly, whatever freedom of expression and all that. but still, so much money .. and they look to me like, trailer trash.

I think she looks great, her new hair cut looks amazing and I love her eyes. i feel sorry for them, they never had a choice, their parents put them in this when they couldnt even walk… they gew up in television in front of millions strange people…

oh boo hoo, mary kate. i feel sooooo badly for you. you haven’t had a real steady job since you were too young to even remember doing the work and now you don’t have to have a real steady job for the rest of your life. you poor thing. i guess that’s why you have to party hard, use liquor, smoke endless ciggies and use drugs to escape your painful existance. sorry, mary kate, i think i’ll save my sympathy for those who actually deserve it.
p.s. how wonderful that your standards are so high that you would never ever do the cover of maxim magazine. thank god they will never ask your ugly @ss and insult your delicate sensibilities. lol

I actually like her quite a lot for some reason. She seems like a nice, cool person and her style isn’t as bad as most of the people say. Okay, this is not the most flattering outfit, but she can look gorgeous and who can pull of outfits like the worst of hers and still look as good as she does?!
Plus at least she is not one of these dull barbie Disney channel dolls that American teens seem to worship nowadays and did some really good work in her latest projects (talking about “The Wackness” & “Weeds”)!
