Jennifer Aniston goes to the Beverly Hills eatery, Madeo, for lunch with film director Woody Allen on Tuesday.
The Friends star wore a gold and jade ring on her ring finger while she made her way into the restaurant.
Following a recent breakup with John Mayer, Jennifer appears to be moving on with new plans for her career, with a meeting with the 72-year-old director.
Jennifer just appeared on the cover of OK!, claiming she is done with John Mayer and finally over her obsessions with Brad Pitt.

The New Old Move
This is Jennifer Aniston – seen yesterday out and about in Beverly Hills, photographers reporting that her mood seem to vacillate from near tears to happy smiles in a matter of seconds.
Indeed, it’s been a rough couple of weeks for everyone’s favourite Friend. It’s the public humiliation from the aftermath of the John Mayer saga, it’s the fact that yet another one of her publicity strategies has backfired, it’s that her media team is now scrambling, unable to decide on the next move, a move made even more difficult considering the most recent moves have been scrutinised and analysed and said to be lacking.

My sources tell me that this was suggested to Jennifer late last week at a meeting she took with her handlers – to show perhaps a different side of herself, one with more attitude, with an edge, to be a ***** once in a while, to stop trying to be perfect and pitiful, to take a project with some controversy, to woo Judd Apatow for some Katherine Heigl magic.
Word is she totally balked. Word is she still can’t go there.
So, instead, they apparently decided to look for another glossy tell-all. Another interview during which she’s encouraged to weep and then shake her fist in determination, another interview at the end of which her army of “you go girl” girls will follow her into the ocean and stand there until they change their own tides.

I think Aniston is so predictable, she goes to Madeo if she wants to be seen, where paps abound. She wants to show people she is busy with businesss, and to think her friends said it was Mayer who tips the paps to follow them when they were together. Now that she is alone, and she goes out and about, the paps are always there also, so I dont think its Mayer who is calling the paps!
Obama is not a peace candidate like Barr, Nader, McKinney or Baldwin. Jolie has made several coy statements. Jolie may have a beautiful face but better a manly face and a peaceful foreign policy.

As for Aniston selling tabloids/magazine–if she weren’t married to Pitt and perceived as being dumped by him (I said perceived because her fans like to trump her victim-hood of a scorned woman and she filed for divorce), no one, myself included, would be interested in looking at anything with her picture on it. But since the divorce, she has become the perfect gossip subject.

You know, I’m starting to think that in Post # 47, bet has a point - Jen must hold some kind of fascination for all of you women who post on Jen’s threads day in and day out (you know who you are); why else would you spend all of your time, unsuccessfully trying to convince Jen’s fans of her PR stunts, etc, when really no one cares. Sure, everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. Angelina is an ambassador for the UN High Commission on Refugees. This is her passion. She should be commended for it instead of excoriated by you. Over her tenure of 7 years (2001 to present) she has done over 70 events whereas the other GOODWILL ambassadors have done no more than two per year (folks like Sophia Loren, Armani etc) to raise the awareness of refugees.
All Angelina has said is that she wants to see which candidate will best look after the refugees. She has not inserted herself in foreign policy. She has instead brought to the floor the UNHCR’s recommendations on dealing with refugees to the movers and shakers in Washington and the rest of the world. She doesn’t go off half assed on her trips or in her speeches. She is held to the UNHCR’s standards.

Past Goodwill ambassadors include actors, singers, royalty, sports stars, and musicians. Their goal and their purpose is to bring the plight of refugees to the attention of the world.
It is too bad you feel Angelina should be excoriated for actually doing something to help the over 32,000,000 people who are refugees or have been displaced due to wars (like Iraq), poverty and internal conflict within countries. Maybe she should just wear a T-Shirt like Aniston and then say she supports and is active in a charity.

Everything that you wrote is 100% true! Also, I was once a refugee and UNHCR really helped me and my family and also they helped to a lot of people! But some posters here are really stupid, I can not believe that there are people today that don’t know anything about UN … Well they are Aniston fans, but still … This is my first time posting on the Maniston thread and also a last time, she has really stupid fans!

I have friends who come from conflict areas. One from Burundi, the other from Bosnia. My friend from Burundi (Africa) had to leave her country only because she is from different tribe than her neighbours. My friend from Bosnia, she also had to leave her country, only because she is a member of different religion.
I talked a lot with them, and I always could see the tears and the longing of home in their eyes. I don’t want to pretend that I know how it feels to be away from home only because of different colour of skin/religions.
As much as I don’t like Angelina Jolie, I don’t believe that she is pro war. Whether you like it or not, the UN is the only organization that has all countries as members, and should be supported. We hear only the negative stories, but it does a lot of good work.

Angelina hopes for the troops to stay in Iraq to help the refugees return and resettle in their country. I agree with her. Not only would it win a lot of hearts, but they should do it because it’s the invasion that made people flee their homes.

The title of this thread is a glowing example of why I spend time on these sites. I love Jen for I can see through her, that to be a “star” (I hate that word actually) one doesn’t have to have extra ordinary beauty, extra ordinary life. But normal day to day life. She is a clever woman. She works hard for her life and her status right now. She might not want to have children, but I don’t see anything wrong with it. And she can run around normally. She doesn’t have to follow any fashion which is in for the moment. She just has to be herself. She is elegant, she has an amazing smile (as if the sun rises on her face - god, I wish she smiled more often), okay, okay I will stop. Otherwise you will put your hands in front of your ears ;-)
Many write about her physical appearance. I am sorry to tell you this, but this part is the last part I see in a person. Why do you think I can be a fan of Rhys Ifans? Why I can see his “beauty” when everybody else not, and one even called me delusional. Well, I get used to it anyway.(May be not everybody).
I have some principles. May be a little bit rigid. But they are important to me. And this principles do not fit to Angelina Jolie. The report from the magazine claims that Jennifer placed a late night phone call to France and wound up talking to her ex Brad Pitt and even though there has been countless reports that claim Angelina does not want Brad to talk to his ex-wife Jennifer this one cites an insider that says Jolie is fine with Brad trying to help out Jennifer after the John mayer break up.

According to the report, when Brad told Jolie that he had been talking to his ex and explained the situation an insider cited in the article claimed that Jolie had no problem with the late night phone call and she reportedly told Brad that she hoped that he was able to help out Jennifer as she worked through the John Mayer break up.

Jennifer Aniston is not young, even skin wise and no mountain of scientific enhancement would change the fact that she is indeed a 40 years old physically speaking.
You don’t believe me ? Look at her hands’s skin. That is ‘virgin’ skin without enhancement. Hands are always the best tool to measure a person skin aging process. She is 40 and her real skin is even more older than her 39+ years old as sun has accelerated the damage. Brad Pitt-Talented, incurably romantic, and WHIPPED. That’s okay-at a recent reunion, my extended family discussed sending him a TY note. We’ve been in New Orleans since 1840, and he should be respected for his charitable actions in New Orleans. (It was funny when the 70+pious old grandmothers debated which movie had Pitt’s sexiest performance.)
Angelina Jolie-Another talented romantic, but with a PAST. Again, so what? People change, grow up, get new interests. Motherhood brings out the best in some people. She said that she is not a pacifist, because some fights are worth fighting, and would cheerfully shoot anyone who broke into her house or harmed her children. ( My own mother pulled a gun on someone for that reason )She also said that she is registered as an Independent, not a Liberal Dem, and won’t publicly endorse a presidential candidate because voters shouldn’t care how a celebrity votes. If Jolie is a ****, as many claim, she’s a smart one.
My husband said Anniston “would bore any man out of his ******* mind, and if Brad Pitt is whipped, Angelina is worth it.She ’s hot AND intruiging.”
