LL Cool J: Russell Brand is Bland!

Check out the latest VMA promo with rapper LL Cool J and British funny man Russell Brand. Funny but definitely not as funny as the Britney ones.

Rihanna will perform her hit single “Disturbia” and rapper T.I. will perform a new single off his upcoming album Paper Trail. Pink is set to perform her new single, “Say What,” off her album Funhouse. Kid Rock, Lil Wayne and the Jonas Brothers also have been added to the list of performers at this year’s show. The VMAs will be hosted by Russell Brand and will air live on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 9PM Live ET/Tape Delayed PT.

You are very right Helena. Most Americans don’t understand English humor at ALL. So no, they probably won’t get him. I think, however, that it might be the best VMA’s yet. We could learn a thing or two from the English. I adore their award shows. Ours are quite lame and a little too tame.

what do u mean “jonas brothers have been added to the list of performers”??? the jonas brohters were the first performers asked to perform. they werent added to the list. they started the list. (cuz they are just that cool)

Americans don’t get Brand because his humour is full of irony and satire and they take it literally, they like more obvious spelled out humour such
as the unfunny Letterman, Leno and O’Brien!!!!
