Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish Hide Under Hats
Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish go underground and go incognito at a financial building in West Los Angeles, Calif. on Tuesday.
Last week, it was reported that Jake Gyllenhaal might be spending a lot of time with Abbie Cornish, as his leading lady in an upcoming sci-fi flick.
Meanwhile Abbie, 26, can be seen in Bright Star, an upcoming drama based on the three-year romance between 19th century poet John Keats and Fanny Brawne (Abbie’s character), which was cut short by Keats’ untimely death at age 25.
Bright Star is scheduled to be released sometime in 2009.

Ryan is hot - but his alleged affair with Abbie was supposedly not his first affair. NOT ATTRACTIVE. If Reese and Ryan were having problems - end the marriage then DATE. Not date until I get busted then beg my wife to take me back. Then he has the nerve to tell everyong how his divorce was devastated (no **** Ryan - losing Reese’s millions would be devastating) and he was ready to kill himself. And that he can’t even go outside without photographers following him.
How does he thinks Reese - having to explain to their children what happened to their family.
Reese is an amazing actress and she has handled the last two years with a huge amount of grace and dignity.
Ryan and Abbie - will both get what they deserve. Whatever the gods of fate think that may be. Betcha she’ll be pregnant soon. She’ll have to make sure she has a tie to Ryan and Reese’s money.

Both Ryan and Reese handled themselves with grace and dignity IMO. Two of my favorites stars.

If Ryan had any grace or dignity he would have ended his marriage before he started sleeping with Abbie.
I doubt think his kids will agree with that in 10 or 15 years when they find out how their Dad betrayed their mother and then went a four month damage control press jucket to save his career.
Abbie has the potential to be an amazing actress - I think being with Ryan is could be hurting her career. Ryan just doesn’t impress anyone with his work. He can’t carry a movie - Stop Loss proved that.

Sei lá… A Reese me parece meio falsa. Boazinha demais, perfeitinha demais, tipo aquelas mocinhas de novela. E Parece ser meio controladora e mandona também.
Já o Ryan e Abbie parecem mais naturais, sem querer passar uma imagem só para as pessoas gostarem deles. E o fato de terem se separado não significa que ele deixou de ser pai das crianças.

I think you put your finger on the problem. She is too castrating and drives men away. Take a look at the Jake Gyllenhall thread for more info on how now she seems to be giving Jakeypoo the “treatment.” He may soon be gone from her side too. Reese is hardly a woman anymore, but rather a big business. She makes millions for herself and for her movie masters and that is more important than her femininity. “Election” was her best movie. She was pretty much playing herself there.
