OlderLindsay Lohan Slams Her Father Michael Lohan
Lindsay Lohan has taken to her Celebrity MySpace blog to vent about her father, Michael Lohan. Here’s what Linds fumed about (spelling and capitalization corrected):
“If you have something to say to me, say it to my face. That’s what I have believed my whole life. Don’t be a coward and say it to others first, let alone all the media in the world. I think we know where the rest of this blog is going…
“If you guessed it had to do with my father–then you guessed right! It really hurts, because I have tried. After all that my mother and siblings have gone through, I really tried to make things work. For the hope of having a father again-wanting things to change- even though people have said, some people will forever remain the same.
“Having said that- the people were right, and he is yet to change- but this time, without his daughter by his side- He has become a public embarrassment and a bully- To my family, my co-workers, my friends, and a girl that means the world to me (it’s obvious who that is).
“He has no idea what is going on in my life because I have chosen not to involve him in it- His recent attack on my life and my loved ones is simply for an ADDICTION THAT HE HAS- FAME. Why he feels the need to comment on anything in my life that i may want to keep private, is beyond comprehension- If he really cared about me and my life, then he would learn to respect my wishes by staying out of it.
“[BFF Samantha Ronson] has not and would never sell me out. Nor has my mother, who is wonderful. This further proves that any information that my father has about me or the people in my life is internet based- and about as accurate as a page six item. I’m not going to engage any further, though i probably could go on… I have said enough, i have a therapist, and it is not the the camera man at x17.”

She’s telling her fans that anything her father says is BULLS*** because he is not involved in her life, and why that is. She’s saying Samantha never spoke to him, either.
Can’t you guys get that? And good for Lindsay for cutting the cancer out of her life. Angelina had to do it, and Lindsay has had to, also. Just because someone is related by blood does not mean they are healthy to have in your life.
I feel bad for her. He is such an @ss. No wonder this girl is screwed up. She is finally happy and in love . . .leave her alone.

All these celebrities honestly believe their hype. Why does she think anyone gives a rats *ss about her relationship with her father - people only want to see her and what ridiculous leggings she’s wearing today. Blog about this online? #20 SHE IS NOT doing what her father is doing. She was CLEARING THE AIR ON ALL THE LIES HE SPEWED. She had NO reason to tell him to his face. She was setting the record straight for her and her family on all the BS he told.
I admire Lindsay for the stand she is taking with her father. Samantha Ronson is a wonderful addition to her life, lovers or not. By the way BFF stands for Best Friend Forever- it could be either a platonic relationship or a coded way of saying that the two people are involved.

I actually think that was a pretty classy reponse to a really low blow served to her by her own father. Hopefully she shut him up and we will never ever have to hear from that fool again. I mean it’s not like he has actually done anything that warrants his place in the spotlight. I think the haters need to stop hating on this girl- it’s getting old!! Give her a chance to move on from her past and get back on track as an actress and fulfill the potenial that was there in her earlier movies and that people like Meryl Streep and Jane Fonda have pointed out.
I agree that Lindsay’s response to the appalling behavior of her “loving father” is surprisingly mature. Yeah, maybe she shouldn’t have responded at all, but he was spreading pretty vicious lies about her and her loved ones in the press just because she wants nothing more to do with him. And for those who are saying she should have said stuff to his face - she has, over and over, and he even went on record a few months ago promising her he would stop talking to the media about her. He really is an addict, it seems.
AGREE NUMBER # 1 and the others who said, ” go tell your father, NOT us.” Samantha does NOT need to write a ” tell all ” book. What does she know anyway? She has not been around Lindsay THAT long and her family THAT long to write a TELL- TELL book on HER and THEIR lives. I do agree with her father on that. I read on X-17 online that at different resaurant’s, Lindsay always picks up the tab, even when the bill is laid down on Samantha’s side of the table. After a minute or two, the restaurant waiter has stated , that finally Lindsay ‘ reaches over and grabs the tab and places her card or cash inside of the holder.” Once or twice, Samantha has been heard to say, she ” has AGAIN forgotten to place her wallet in her back pocket “. Lindsay just ” rolls her eyes “. and states ” they will settle later “. One restaurant, said it has become a joke, how she has taken advantage of Lindsay. So, I would not be too quick to judge her father until the entire story is heard. There IS two sides to every Lohan fiasco !!!
Lindsey is a train wreck also and a ****. She does say she takes on lots of lovers back in the day when she was sleeping with every guy in hollywood. but i guess she’s sticking to innies for now. she said she wants to be like Angelina Jolie. But too bad she’s not pretty like Angelina.

Lol…Know your facts..Sam is a trust fund kid from from an old money london/manhatten family. Am pretty sure she can pay her own restaurant bills. Just because she is somewhat relaxed in her dress style doesn’t mean she is poor and has no class or manners.It is usually the noveau rich that feel the need to dress to impress…My condolences to the Lohan kids for having such and awful father, I hope it works out for them in the end..
