Michael Phelps Teams Up With Tiger Woods
Michael Phelps helps launch ‘EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09′ at the Strata Metronome in New York City on Wednesday.
The 8-time Olympic gold medalist will host the 34th season premiere of NBC’s SNL on Sept. 13. Joining the 23-year-old athlete as musical guest will be rapper Lil Wayne.
Phelps will also join the likes of Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and many others, as presenters at the Sept. 7 VMAs telecast from Los Angeles.

Jealousy is running rampid on this site. Michael is a great guy and he is amazed with all the attention he is getting. But he is also happy that this has brought attention to swimming. He knows that in a few weeks this will all die down and he can enjoy his new house in Baltimore. He is just a regular guy enjoying the success that his hard work and dedication has earned him. But above all he is happy to be in a position to do positive things. You should all be proud.

Man he is ugly. But we have to understand that appearance is a big part of being a star, he just needs another DUI bust and it’ll be bye-bye Michael Phelps. Either way no-one will care about this dude next year, the Olympics is every 4 years and that is the only time when more than 10 people care about swimming!
Who cares if he is wearing sandals, he is a young guy and his style is better then most of the young people I have seen. And Tina #20, your right in a few months all this will die down and no one is looking more forward to that more then Michael. He did have a DUI and it was a reality check for him, it won’t happen again. He has brought a lot of attention to swimming and has influenced many young people to take up the sport.
Kalilah and parisgirl, those girls don’t have to like Michael Phelps if they don’t want to. Maybe they are shallow, but its their right. Just because someone is successful and has money does not mean that they should be considered objects of desire, and the people who do are usually groupies, not true fans, and golddiggers. I don’t consider him an object of desire either so who am I to judge about that? All I’m saying is the boy is a swimmer, not a model/actor/anyone whose looks provide their meal ticket so I don’t really get the need to laugh about his non-beauty (ugliness would be a little harsh).
It’s only his ears that make him unattractive really. But anyway, he has a distinctive face which is very recognisable and that will be marketing GOLD.

I think what Michael Phelps did was very impressive but I dont see why everyone is going nuts over this guy. I am not hating on him at all I just think that there are some better noteworthy athletes that are still unreconized like Gina Carano an undefeated Elite XC fighter, Muay Thai Champion and she is smokin hot. I guess maybe swimming just does’nt interest me because its like long distance running, not fun to watch and it gets boring to do.
Michael Phelps looks hot and cute in a dork kind of way. But Tiger Woods is looking terrible I was never attracted to him even when he was younger, but he was always okay looking, now he is frightful.
