Zac Efron is Suspenders Sexy
Check out this exclusive first look of Zac Efron in his upcoming drama, Me and Orson Welles.
”He’s falling for this older woman,” director Richard Linklater says of Zac’s character. ”She’s taking him for a bit of a ride.” She being Claire Danes, Zac’s object of affection in the film.
Zac plays a high school student in the 1930’s who stumbles across the Mercury Theatre and his acting potential is soon realized by the theatre’s founder Orson Welles. Claire plays a perky production assistant–some pictures of her on the set of Orson can be found here.
Me and Orson Welles debuts on Friday, Sept. 5 at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

This is his first serious drama movie role. Should be good. Claire Danes is a wonderful actress and Zac has the acting chops to pull through.

Claire Danes has been nominated for and won numerous awards. She is an outstanding actress, and I’m sure Zac considers himself very lucky to have her playing the role of Sonja.

Hey, this is a serious movie not some teeny bopper Disney production, if you haven’t figured it out. It is not just about being Hot and his leading lady being young and beautiful. They are playing their characters and Claire Danes is a lot older than Zac. If any of you can recall she played along side Leonardo De Caprio in the Modern Day Romeo and Juliet. So she must be in her 30’s now or at least late 20’s. As Malia said, Claire is a very good actress and well known for her shakespearean roles. What better actress than her as a leading lady to begin Zac’s career for more serious roles.

This is definitely something to look forward too. I can’t wait too see Zac portraying a different role this time. I wish Zac and Claire good luck and hopefully the movie will do well in the festival.
