You choose to believe only the glowing positive things you have heard from the press and reject all else. That’s nice. Good for you. Not a realistic way to live one’s life, but whatever works.

It does not, however, make you right.

Perhaps I am too cynical. Or perhaps working in the business and having heard stories from real life sources about Tom Cruise for almost fifteen years now has impaired my judgment. So, you see, I am not basing my opinion on some outburst he made on TV. That was simply the icing on my cake.

Does it make me right? Not necessarily. But I do feel a little closer to the truth of it—and the truth is never the same as what you read in People magazine.

So you can go on trying to contradict or subtly attack everyone else for what they post, but you’ve just admitted you don’t know jack. You certainly don’t know Tom Cruise.

The TRUTH is she was NOT asked back to to TDK. Chris Nolan being the gentleman he is allowed her to say she turned it down. After the Batman Begins debacle where she did no press and then showed up at the premier with Tommygirl on his motorcycle, which he pulled right up to the batmobile ‘aka’Tumbler’, and then Tommygirl walked the red carpet as if it was HIS movie. He was shamelessly trying to draw attention to War of The Worlds. Even Spielberg was embarrassed. Add that to the fact that All batman and comic fans immediately felt that Batman Begins was perfect, except for Katie Holmes. She was the only weak point of the film. There was also the matter of no chemistry between her and Bale.
So, no, she was not asked back. And yes, she killed her career when she hooked up with crazy Tom.

Why don’t you think “All My Sons” is a good starting vehicle? I like that she’s starring in a supporting role in a good play with a great cast.
