Nahla Aubry: It’s A Zoo Up In Here!
Halle Berry gets in some mother-daughter bonding time over Labor Day Weekend with daughter Nahla Aubry, 5 months, during a tram ride around the Los Angeles Zoo on Saturday.
The mother-daughter duo was accompanied by a bodyguard and Nahla’s maternal grandmother, Judith Hawkins.
Noticeably missing was Halle’s model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry.

For the person who is saying she is cross-eyed first of all that is cruel and secondly if you have had a child or have friends who have children then you would know that sometimes in their (particulary) left eye muscle is not that strong when born. Therefore when a baby looks at you up close usually the left eye tend to go inward. It is something babies usually grow out of. Sometimes it may require a eye patch to strenghten the eye muscle when they are1 years of age or older if it has not corrected itself.

Suri Cruise was and is cute but ‘beautiful’ will never be a descriptive term for her as ages. She is a cutie no doubt, but Nahla has a different look completely, one that will net her descriptive terms like ‘exotic, stunning and unforgetable.
As for the statement regarding Halley’s mom, what would make you say such a thing? Are you from some hole in the ground that has never seen or heard of biracial children. In all honesty, I don’t think that most of the celebrity babies that people ooohh and aahh over on this site are that cute. Most of them are just normal looking, like Nahla and Suri and Shiloh and Violet…..
People are just so fixated on these celebrities that they are brainwashing into thinking that means their kids are just as beautiful as they are and that is painfully evident on this site.
As for celebrity kids having better lives that most people, do a little research, you may be surprised how messed up some of the lives of celebrity kids really are.
her eyes will probably darken.. my daughter is also mixed and she had those same blue eyes until she was almost two.. the permanent color is a dark mossy greey with some brown around the pupil..they look black from a distance!

I am amazed at the ignorance that still is prevalent in 2008. If you read the book called, “One Drop” by Bliss Broyard, it clearly indicates how people of mixed lineage begun to have less and less percentage of negro chromosomal traits. This child is 1/4 black and 3/4 white, as time goes on she will more than likely began to display very caucasoid features (i.e. shape of the nares, hair texture, olive skin complexion that is very typical of mexicans and other races).
Hopefully one day this will be a mute issue but then as humans do…..we will create something else to be divisive. Remember orginally why people came to America, seeking religious asylum as well as a multitude of other reasons (most of the people were of the same racial group).

As far as race, it should be interesting. Halle has always said her mom told her people will see her as a black woman, which is true. Her baby’s racial identity seems to be way more ambiguous. I think she’ll resemble the Olympic hurdler, Lolo Jones and Rashida Jones.. Looks white, but you can also tell there there is some mix.

Her eyes colors will change, for all the babies , she is 5 months the more she will grow the more her Iris/”color of her eyes” will get darker, the color will be fixed at 9 months, the more she grows the more the substance of the melanine who is in the iris will get darker .

I think one of the reasons Halle kept the baby out of paps range as long as she could is being demonstrated by some ignorant people posting here making comments on the baby’s skin color. Biracial people carry genes from many ancestors and have varied appearances. Halle is beautifully biracial as is her daughter. I knew the nasites would emerge based on comments made last month when paps pixs of the back of the baby’s head were seen as to how “dark” the baby was .

Why are ppl calling a four or five month old baby ugly. I would love to see how you children look or will look. Probably not as cute as this baby. BTW, most celebs that let magazines print cover pics of their babies get paid lots of money and do not donate that money to charity. But I do know that Brad and Angie did donate their money. Her mom is carmel colored. But her father, was a light-skinned black man with light eyes — surely where Vanessa received her green eyes.

And I felt that I should address the ‘color scheme of African-Americans’, both of my parents are mixed, and I would have to strongly disagree that light skinned blacks are not mixed. Somewhere in their ancestry you’ll find a relative of another race, and this is even the case for certain dark skinned individuals if not most. Actually, it is said that there is no pure race, thus, no one is actually full black, full white, et cetera… Regardless if they may appear that way or they may even identify with ONE race, let’s face it, it’s easier that way.
Personally, my mother’s father is Italian/Portuguese but her mother is West Indian/Carib, Scottish and Japanese and my father’s mother is Aruban/Dutch while his father is Puerto Rican/Native (Arawakan/Igneri/Taino) and that’s ridiculous to explain to everyone who asks what my ethnicity is so I identify with West Indian.
I have younger cousins who are dark skinned with curly hair or light skinned nappy hair but that does not mean they are full black by any means, those just happen to be the traits that they inherited from their ancestors.
