Zac Efron - “Teen Vogue” October 2008

Too cool for school Zac Efron takes the cover of Teen Vogue’s Young Hollywood October 2008 issue.

The issue featuring the 20-year-old High School Musical star hits newsstands on September 9th. An inside spread features the boys of 90210–Dustin Milligan, Tristan Wilds, Michael Steger and Ryan Eggold.

And guess who was on the cover of Teen Vogue last month? That’s right, Zac’s on-and-off-screen girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.

It’s amazing how neither Zac nor Vanessa have ever done a bad photoshoot/covershoot, ever!

TeenVogue is a fashion magazine for teens, but that doesn’t mean that it’s just for girls or that you only have to be a teen, there have been a lot of guys on the cover and also alot of both the men and the woman have been older then 20, it’s more of a matter of who’s popular and maybe who’s sense of fashion inspire s.k. teens right now.
I’m hoping to be able to see both Zac and Vanessa on ‘Vogue’ someday.

Disney is taking HSM3 publicity SERIOUSLY! Expect to see the stars EVERYWHERE….mag covers, photo shoots, TV interviews, award show red carpets, anything and everything they can possibly do to get the word out: “GO SEE HSM3 ON OCTOBER 24!!!”

Disney does NOT mess around…they mean business!

Remember how Vanessa cancelled her appearance on Jay Leno last year very soon after the nude picture came out? She has never rescheduled. I think it would be fun for her to do that show and I think she will do it for HSM3!

I did read somewhere that Ashley’s not a natural blonde. But that is one transformation, I’d never guess she had curly brown hair and looked noting at all at 15 like she is now. Anyway, most of the celebrities who are “Blondes” are not. Good examples are Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Aniston, Britney Spears, and pamela Anderson amongst others. It must be hard on the hair to keep on colouring it and costing a pretty penny to maintain it too.

My my, the haters are out and about today!

I do find it somewhat amusing that some people seem to think he’s got the same ungrateful attitude and superficial outlook as the young hollywood crowd alla Lohan/Hilton. This is so so far from the truth.

Zac is a grounded person and is actually dedicated to his work. He has dealt with fame graciously without turning to drugs and alcohol, or alienating his family and friends.

And so what if he splurged on a vacation with his girlfriend? Who doesn’t splurge on their holidays? And with their combined income they certainly didn’t spend beyond their means.

And FYI - no, I’m not defending him because I’m a friend of his or related to him. I just call it as I see it.

Hey Lala, #14, yeah, Nessa’s stomach is a bit bumpy…well, she’s young, and may have just eaten the wrong thing before going on stage…lol….she would have to have gotten preggers around the end of HSM 3 to make any kind of difference…not from their Turks & Caicos holiday.

I love that they put Vanessa on the cover of the fashion issue and he on the young hollywood issue ( though I would want them to stop associating him with young hollywood, he’s moved on). I have the issue with Vanessa on the cover, I can’t wait to get his and V’s other covers.

Christine, jackson, Malia, Kgg, Sheila, Boji and Go sox, well said.

We are not alone in our admiration of our favorite couple. Their pull is so strong that the haters can’t stay away.
Against their will, they keep coming back to Z & V’s threads to check up on them and gaze at their pictures and to their dismay, they both appear to be be happy, doing well, doing their thing with a still growing and maturing fanbase in spite of all the haters’ comments.

If only there’s a way I could help them stay away and spare themselves the anguish, I would, but unfortunately, it seems the pull of Zac and Vanessa is too irresistible, that’s why they are the stars they are.

Zac will move beyond the teen base. Just wait till MAOW comes out. His drawing power is going to skyrocket. Even 17 Again will showcase his acting. After all, he’s playing a 36-year-old in a teen’s body.

But, right now he has to promote HSM3 to the younger audience.

Hollisterxgirlx - We can all tell you are young and impressionable and perhaps a little spoiled. No one is saying that you are retarded - actually hate that word since it is a condition - not a title to be thrown around even in bantering.

I highly doubt that Vanessa is pregnant and seeing her at the VMA’s will prove nothing. She’s a smart girl and the picture was taken at a bad angle, so it proves nothing either.

Let’s not start any rumors, as that one keeps cropping up and continues to be seen as false time and time again.

I have a feeling it’s the same little girl who goes from site to site posting a link to a picture and asking the same question. Hasn’t she been doing this for the past year?

She wants to start a rumor because she has nothing interesting going on in her own life. This creates drama and makes her feel important.

It’s pretty obvious this kid know nothing about precautions couples in a mature relationship can take.

I never one time said anything about ANYONE old or young being retarded. I am a nurse who has over the years worked with children with special needs as well as older individuals who have had special needs from birth. I have worked with the United Cerebral Palsy orgainization, spinal bifida, mental retardation facilities, and even Planned Parenthood. Now, until you are a little drier behind the ears, I suggest you think twice before putting words into my mouth.

You are the one who one day backs Zac and Vanessa all the way, the next day after seeing a picture you don’t like you don’t think Zac is good enough for Vanessa, then you read something you like that Zac said—which may be true or false—and you like Zac again, and now you think the Jonas Brothers are hotter. My point? The very young are easily swayed by what kind of picture they see or whatever they read or whatever hot property is being promoted (the Jonas Brother, Selena Gomez, etc) at the moment. Older people like an actor for his/her talent and potential and personality. They also have been around long enough to be able to know when something that is written has the sound of hype (lies) in it—how Zac doesn’t shower or he freaked out over a zit and wears Vanessa’s make-up… We also can tell a “doctored” photo which is what the one of Vanessa looks like. Look at her performing at the New York State fair and tell me she remotely looks pregnant and look at that silly picture that was posted here. You have even been know to post links to pictures where Zac’s face is plastered on someone else’s body so you could get someone to respond to you (in other words wanting attention). Hopefully in about 10 years you will also be able to reason a whole lot better than you do now. But know this, young lady, I call nobody a ******.

Hollisterxgirlx, yes, I see you wherever there’s a Vanessa or Zac thread. You are around 11 or 12 yrs old if I’m not mistaken.

I totallly agree with Karen that you are impressionable and have yet to understand anything beyond face value.

Just last night I was talking to my friend’s daughter( an 11 yr old) and she told me her friends “hate” Vanessa because of that “picture” she took. I tried to explain to her with her parents present that you don’t hate someone who has not done you any harm and you don’t know personally neither is she to be condemned for that one picture taken when she was very young and naive and that she had to grow up real fast because unlike normal teenagers, she was already earning a living in an adult world and had to work very hard to be where she is now. I just hoped that I hit home with my explanation. I added many more things. Anyway, her parents didn’t say much because to them I did make sense, but I’m not so sure with her as like Hollisterxgirlx here, black is black and white is white to her. There is no grey inbetween. And her peers rule or sway her thinking.
