OlderBristol Palin is Pregnant!
Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin announced that her 17-year-old daughter Bristol Palin is five months pregnant and is going to marry the father.
Sarah and husband Todd Palin released this statement via the John McCain campaign:
“We have been blessed with five wonderful children who we love with all our heart and mean everything to us. Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. We’re proud of Bristol’s decision to have her baby and even prouder to become grandparents. As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support.”
“Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family. We ask the media to respect our daughter and Levi’s privacy as has always been the tradition of children of candidates.”
Reuters news service, which first reported the news, says this news is “intended to knock down rumors by liberal bloggers that Palin faked her own pregnancy to cover up for [Bristol].” Trig was born this past April with Down Syndrome.

Seems so easy to put your child on the pill. If you can’t keep up with your childs sex life how will you help run a nation.
i found a second job at home to watch over my teen daughters. She has two more little girls to raise. Can you see eight year of her in the White House. Remember now she would be a Vice President. Maybe Secret Service can watch her daugthers and give out the birth control.

Making a decision implies the girl had a CHOICE. She had NO CHOICE, her mother being who she is and in the postition she’s in.
Palin would like to make the decision for every woman. Even the ones who aren’t rich and powerful or from rich and powerful families, the ones who don’t have help, who can’t afford nannies or HEALTHCARE!
AND she wants to censor books and rewrite evolution. She should be VP of AL-Qaida, they appear to have the same platform.
This lady is a bonafide fruitcake! Why on why did McCain pick her for VP is beyond comprehension. Looks like Barak will be our first black President. Good for him.
Obama released a statement to the media, to “lay off the kids”, he won’t stoop to taking cheap shots though the far right have repeatedly intimated he has terrorists ties becuse of his background.

Actually, despite the cries of conservatives, I found the story in the “liberal blogs”, true or false, to be more touching. In that story, Sarah Palin sacrificed herself to protect her daughter’s future. It’s not unusual for a family to raise a grandchild as a child if the daughter is too young to be a mother. And I feel like it gives both children a chance to live normal lives until they are ready to deal with the truth. Yes, I’m sure some people think that people need to deal with their own consequences, but she was 16 and parents can make their own choices on how to protect their children. Setting all conspiracy theories aside, the revelation that Bristol is currently pregnant and simply going to marry this young man that got her pregnant may be more normal and honest-seeming, but it’s a sadder story. My friends in high school who married due to a pregnancy are not still together today ten years later. Despite the best efforts of many couples, children alone can’t fuel the love required to keep many marriages going, especially when both halves married before they were ready to. Half of adult marriages fail; there should be no expectation that marriages between children should be better. It may be the “right” thing to do, but I preferred the image of a Palin who went beyond the call to protect the future of her daughter. For once, I wish the conspiracy theorists were right.

First of all, she preached about abstinence and no-premarital sex, etc., etc… and she can’t even handle her own kids? Okay, let’s face it, besides puttting a lock between your kids legs, NOTHING is going to stop raging hormones, not even the fear of god… so the only thing to do it arm the stupid idiots with some protection! Come on.. you were all that age once! Did you all wait till your wedding day? PLEASE!

John McCain says he knew beforehand. Maybe, maybe not. He’d look like a fool if he didn’t know. John McClain wouldn’t lie to us, would he? Besides, I do like the Republicans ability to put a good spin on anything. If you think I’m being facetious, you’re right.
I agree with whoever said, ‘Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.’ What do we really know of Palin except her well executed public image? Now that she is in the national spotlight, we could see the uncovering of other things.
I don’t care one way or another that her teenager is pregnant, stuff happens. However, it’s going to be hard for Palin to preach abstinence and family values when she couldn’t get her daughter to buy into them. If you think people don’t hold what kids do against their parents, you need to come up for air. If you are an adult child living out of your parent’s house that’s one thing, but the behavior of underage kids IN the home is a reflection of the parents, like it or not. It has nothing to do with being fair or unfair. I don’t make the rules, that’s just the way it is.
Republicans may support her; well they always support their own, no matter what they do, but I bet behind closed doors heads are shaking. It’s like being shot at once; they’re waiting for the next bullet.
The other thing is, I wouldn’t advise a 17 years old to get married. They can’t undo the fact that she had sex and is now pregnant. Nor does it make the situation more palatable to say “They’re getting married.” It is what it is. The question is whether she is getting married now just because she is pregnant. I’d say at 17 she wasn’t looking to be married this soon, so what’s the point to do it now. Marriage doesn’t work just to save face. On the other hand, the reason for giving the ok to the marriage may be as simple as her parents not wanting to risk that she’d get pregnant again out of wedlock.
Next we’ll hear the run down on the father to be; bet he’ll be glad to have the glare of the spotlight on him and his family. Hold on to your seats it’s going to be a bumpy ride. .
Okay, first of all I would just like to say that this is bad. Mccain f*cked up big time. Plus also when Jamie lynn spears was pregnant they mad her look bad in front of everybodyincluding her mom. Now that this Bristol girl is pregnant they are like oh it’s okay she is keeping the baby. What the heck at least Jamie came out and said she was pregnant. This girl didn’t even come out. she hid it like she is insecure about it. Also it seems to me that they are saying she is a good girl because she is keeping it. Bad girls are the ones who don’t. To tell you the truth good girls are the ones who wait tell they are older to have a baby. I guess that I’m just saying two things here. Where is her mom and dad? AND that people need to treat her the same way as they did with Jamie Lynn Spears. I don’t care if your more is going to be Vice president. Don’t lay off the kids either. Sarah and her family including John made a mistake on this big time!! Plus if that little baby was hers then how come she is not married yet. This is really fudged up!!!

That has nothing to do with this story. Any non-virgins who are blogging do not have a mother who is running for VP on the abstinence and family value platform. Deflecting from the issue doesn’t make it go away.
I have learned a lot in the last 4 days. When it comes to anyone outside of the GOP they are considered evil, vile, liars, they’re bad people, inexperienced and can not be trusted.
However, when it is in the GOP they are righteous, it’s life, it’s a lie, 18 months is experience, they’re good people, they are plotting against us trust us, this is good for us and they will spin, spin , and continue to spin to make themselves look good. Because remember the GOP is the saints of the political world.
I feel bad for her daughter being used by mom as a political tool :(

For someone who espouses “family-values” Sarah Palin, was reckless with her newborn by flying in labor, not seeking immediate medical attention while leaking amniotic fluid and leaving him to go back to work three days after his birth. Than she accepts the VP nom. after her teen daughter confides in her she’s pregnant. Palin knew full well the kind of media scrutiny her daughter would be subjected to, I’ve read at least a dozens posts here calling Bristol a s-l-u-t. I think a mother who put her kids first would have said thanks but no thanks to the nom. SHe’s young (44) if she is really ambitious she coulda waited till 2012 to put herself in the national political arena. BUT NO! Shes power hungry and would subject her kids to this, wonder what she’d do to your kids, if she got to the oval office. *shudder*
