OlderBristol Palin Busted In Underage Drinking?
It was announced yesterday that Bristol Palin, the 17-year-old daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, is five-months pregnant. Now, pictures are surfacing on the Internet of the teenage girl supposedly drinking underage.
On top of all of that, The New York Post has identified the baby daddy as Levi Johnston (inset), Bristol’s high school sweetheart.
The teen hockey player’s personal MySpace page admits to him being ‘in a relationship’ but also states, “I don’t want kids.”
Levi continues to boast, “I’m a f - - -in’ redneck who likes to snowboard and ride dirt bikes. But I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some s- - - and just f - - -in’ chillin’ I guess.”
He even warns, “Ya f - - - with me I’ll kick [your] ass.”
UPDATE: Here’s the link to pictures of Bristol supposedly drinking. People claim the pictures are of Levi’s sister, taken two years ago. What do you think?

Bristol deserves to be left out of this. She is doing things that many 17 year olds do, only now she has two consequences–pregnancy and loss of privacy. It is not fair to her to be forced into her mother’s lime light and the likelihood of her ever being faily judged does not exist.

i tried to search and see if al gores sons not so distant dui/drug thing was posted on here but I “think” it was, just in case it wasn’t, least she wasn’t caught with a car full of prescription drugs that don’t belong to her.

Bristol’s pregnancy and the family’s response, as well as that of McCain, show me that they are ready to lead America. Do we still need to pretend that we are all perfect and never make a mistake. What is it, one mistake by your kid and you are a failure. We, as a nation, have come to the point to which we understand that people aren’t perfect. This family is doing exactly what they should when life is hard and your family isn’t able to live up to what you believe in. They’ve pulled together, admitted it (haven’t denied it or covered it up). I mean, so what if not everyone knew. A pregnancy it noticeable eventually and they were just biding time. you can’t hide it. These are real people, not fake. Fake people try to look perfect and go to great lengths to hide the truth. The fake one’s are on the other side saying that after 20 years of listening to a Pastor that they are surprised to learn what he really believes.

first of all, i went to school with all three and i can honestly say they’re wonderful people with great sense of humors, and not “white trash”.
people live their lives in all different ways, i bet every single one of you including myself has at least one nasty habit, but you don’t see me calling you names.
i can agree that they may not be making a good first impression, but you only know these people through what you’ve heard and what you’ve seen, you don’t know them in real life and i bet if you did you’re opinion would change dramatically.
i feel sorry for both families, no one should have to deal with this kind of publicity ever.

I can’t believe John McCain, the Republican presedential nominee selected his VP candidate after only ONE personal interview! What does this say about his (possible) future choices for Department of Defence, State, Treasury secretaries! I don’t want to think about how he’s going to choose Federal and Supreme court judges! McCain said, “Sometimes I make bad decisions, but I admit them and live with the consequences.” Judges are for life! Live with that mistake! Republicans deserve McCain.

Sarah Palin doesn’t care much for family values, she is an opportunist. look how she was giving a speech to oil fat cats while her amniotic fluids were dripping out. Then she flies to Seattle, then Anchorage, then drives 45 minutes to the hospital. IRRESPONSIBLE!!! Her daughter is fine, just trailer trash, but Sarah is NOT FIT TO BE VP let alone Governor!! That isn’t necessarily irresponsible. It was her 5th child - by then, it’s sort of old hat.
After all that has been said, I think that this is not the right time for Palin to run for VP. Reasons
1- She is a mother of a DS child who is only afew mths old. She need to pay attention and give the care needed by this child and not bring the child out canpaigning. I admire her for giving birth to this child as I will not be able to do so. I will opt for the other choice as I have seen kids like this need more attn than normal.
2. Her daughter who will give birth soon need her and her help.
3. Exposure to the media will be negative psychologically to the daughter. Obama and all politician can say that the press shd leave the family alone. Do you all realistically think this is possible. I heard that the tabloid has picked up on this story and is front paging it.
As a VP she will need to be in Washington or wherever that needed her. If there is a family crisis, what is the choice. Country First or family first.
Timing is not RIGHT, maybe in another 4 years, whenever her child grow up and the family have adapted to a DS kid, she will be able to be a VP with clear conscience and without the burden.
I will say the ame thing if Palin is a guy. Family need to be together.
Worse for a mother as our role has been a nurturing role.
She shd think what is best for her family, the Republician party and all.
She shd decline the nomination and go back and do some crisis control so that this story will die and the family can be by themselves and at peace before this things get worse.
We can see them becoming a target of the press and being hounded.

i dont think a teenage girl should be punished for the rest of her life for making the mistake of having sex without birth control .its a big world and its such a shame to see a young girl waste her life being a wife and mom so early..who knows what she couldve become…in a way this is a good thing ,maybe more parents will talk to their kids about sex and how just even one unprotected encounter can change your life forever…”

Sarah Palin’s choice as running mate for McCain was absurd.
Inexperienced? Incredibly so—alhough Fox News gushed about her foreign policy experience since Alaska is a neighbor of Russia. With that thought, she is probably an expert on the North Pole, and a buddy of Santa’s.
The kicker in Bristol’s pregnancy is that Sarah taught her abstinence only, and did not allow her to take sex ed. in highschool. Perhaps the poor girl would have used birth control if she’ d been imformed. No one’s condemning the poor child for being pregnant. Decent people are sympathetic to Bristol. Obama stated that families are off limits to political criticism, and expressed his sympathy with the tough time the family will be going through. That said, this whole nomination of Sarah Palin is a bad joke. Obama was at least a Senator in the US Congress–and wisely chose Biden, who has been head of the Foreign Policy Committee for years–vastly experienced, and from an impeccable background.
America needs a president that can go toe-to-toe with the likes of China and Russia, if we are ever going to stand a chance retaining any form of economic advantage in the 21st Century.
America already is being raped by the oil executives, and her husband is an oil exiectutive for BP.
America has already a rip in its moral fabric, and this candidate with her genuine hypocritical values does not help.
A vote for her will certainly show the world that anyone can be Vice-President or even President ( Mcain is an old man). But a vote for her would be a vote against the progress and safety of the United States of America.
The world is watching carefully, especially the big players, and even the oil companies. They are rubbing their hands with unbelievable joy.
Meanwhile on the streets of America, there seems no leadership, no visiblity and no great future to seek and discover. We need not expect to find the required qualities of greatness within her.
If she gets voted in, never ask again how and why America fell from power, grace and respect. And never ask why the national debt has increased and why we have resumed our dependence on oil.
There is something sinister about selecting her as a running mate, especially when there are more experienced and less oil-involved candidates.
Wow, this conversation is still going on? It’s a little sad that the majority of the people who are criticizing Sarah Palin in this thread are implying that she somehow should have hidden her daughter’s pregnancy - but also are implying that the only reason we know about it is some political move. Dear God.
Maybe the alternative is, oh, I don’t know, they are a supportive and loving family and are not ashamed of Bristol? Aren’t THOSE the actual family values we should all be searching for? Everyone makes different choices in the situations they are faced with.
No, not everyone is going to choose to become a teenage mother if faced with Bristol’s situation, but that doesn’t mean that she’s being forced into anything. Not everyone sees a pregnancy as a death sentence - thank goodness. I am not pro-life, but I am not about to look down on people who choose to make an equally, if not more difficult decision which is to keep a child that you weren’t prepared to care for for the rest of your life.
It’s also sad that just because her teenage daughter is pregnant - I’m sorry, but I can’t believe that in this day and age there are people on here actually saying this ISN’T a common occurence (pull your heads out people) - she is unfit to apply for this job.
