Katie Holmes To Face Anti-Scientology Crusaders?
Katie Holmes sports another floaty top and Roger Vivier buckled flats as arrives at NYC’s Minetta Lane Theatre on Tuesday morning.
The 29-year-old actress will be making her Broadway debut in the play “All My Sons” next month but anti-Scientology crusaders say they will sit silently among the audience at the Gerard Schoenfeld Theatre wearing masks of British Catholic revolutionary Guy Fawkes.
A rep for Anonymous tells The Sun: “We aren’t looking to shut All My Sons down. We don’t have the power to do that – we just want to prove a point. We just want to save Katie. We want to draw attention to Scientology, and hopefully get Katie out of it before it’s too late.”

As to Katie’s family, it would depend on just how deep she is in. I for one suspect she is still in the ‘courting’ stage. Tom can say whatever he wants in an interview. It rarely makes it true.
And to whatever, I believe that “falling out” you mentioned happened on a larger scale. The other psychiatrists wouldn’t let L.Ron into their club, and apprently he held a big grudge.
I’m sorry but people who are brainwashed allow themselves to be brainwashed. Nobody ever talks about that because we see them as victims but brainwashing isn’t a drug you force on someone who can’t fight you off, it is suggestions and ideas that the other person has to process throught their own rational mind and choose to cast off rationality to believe it. Everyone knows someone like that too. Someone who chooses to be led by others. Katie has made a choose. Don’t punish the other actors in the play because of that.

Peaceful protests are 100% legal. Harrassment is what you do, Clinton/scientology believers/alien-huggers. Big difference.
Mav, interesting point….but looking at Kate, some would think the brainwashing from the cult has flipped the “normal” switch off in her mind (sort of like Clinton/Jefferson/Truman/twinkleshoes switch is long gone..ha, ha). She’s submissive to the point of concern from many in the anti-scientology community. However, she’s grown and can choose whatever idiotic path in life she wants. If she wants to believe the stupid “principles” of aliens/SP’s/L.Ron/Tom/ then she only proves her stupidity to those of us that realize the insanity is now bleeding from her pores.. Peaceful protests are fine, and in this case, hysterical to some of us.
I won’t pay one cent to the cult, or anyone associated with it, and it’s my job not to, but I’d like to be a fly on the wall during the protest. I’d be the fly laughing my wings off. I ponder, however, the impact of the protest. If it’s successful, the protest group will be held responsible for her miserable performance on stage…not her miserable performing as it is. There’s always an excuse. Always. I hate for the protest group to be blamed for her shoddy acting. She’s fading to black, just like TC managed to do. Funny how those that “just know” everything manage to ruin themselves from the inside out and the outside in. It’s simply fantastic to observe.
Ugh, this whole hatred of scientology is so boring. All religions are cults. Get over it. It’s time to loathe Tom and Katie for some valid reasons, like they’re boring and have zero talent.

That’s right, they do. However, ANONYMOUS ALSO HAS THE RIGHT TO PROTEST. Read the constitution. The rights given to us in that document don’t only cover Tom and Katie. They cover the Anonymous protesters as well.
If Tom and Katie want to be part of Scientology, so be it. BUT they have to be prepared to deal with the many people who see it at a damaging, destructive cult that is harming our society. That’s life.
Besides, something most people don’t understand is that Anonymous does not want to stop TC and KH from practising Scientology. That’s their business. They want to stop the spread of the cult and bring the crimes of the management to everyone’s attention. It’s Anonymous’s right to do so.

Even Tom Cruise has said that Scientology is not a religion, he said you can be a Christian and a Scientologist at the same time.

If they aren’t a religion, they sure get religion status and all the tax breaks that comes with it. Their god might be a now dead, but formerly deranged science Fiction writer, but he’s still god to them. The term religion is a very board one.

#55…wrong. All religions are NOT cults. I am a child of God. Period. I just don’t shove Him down anyone’s throat, or think I’m better than anyone else because of my belief in Him. Scientologist cult members do the opposite and wish to destroy everyone outside of their cult, and mostly the Christians. Now, why do Christians worry a senseless cult? Hmmmm….more to ponder.

Anonymous has already said they have no plans to disrupt the performance. Just show people the evilness of the cult by protesting. …which is why everyone has the right to free speech. Free speech and the right to gather in protest was kind of how this particular democracy was born.
I can’t believe intelligent and informed people would want to villify this group for exercising that right, when there are volumes upon volumes of legal documentation and court records—-out there for anyone to read, should they choose to do their research—-on all the more underhanded and terrorist ways Scientologists have chosen to carry out their own forms of “protests” and scare tactics.
I only wish the right to free speech here on this board was preceded by a tiny bit of education and research. It might help.

$cientologists like to send out emails instructing their members to post in defense of $cientology and it’s members or to try and discredit and attack the critics.
Examples of such emails have been leaked instructing members to pose as ordinary concerned citizens in letter writing campaigns used to further their own insidious goals.
