Lindsay Lohan just blogged about the pregnancy of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s 17-year-old daughter Bristol. Here’s what she wrote in her political blog entry:
“I’ve been watching the news all morning, like everyone else - and I keep hearing about the issues related to ‘teen pregnancy’- It’s all related to Sarah Palin and her 17-year-old unmarried pregnant daughter. Well, I think the real problem comes from the fact that we are taking the focus off of getting to know Sarah Palin and her political views, and what she can do to make our country a less destructive place. Its distracting from the real issues, the real everyday problems that this country experiences.
“I am concerned with the fact that Sarah Palin brought the attention to her daughter’s pregnancy, rather than all world issues and what she believes she could possibly do to change them-if elected. I get Sarah Palin’s views against abortion, but i would much prefer to hear more about what she can do for our country rather than how her daughter is going to have a child no matter what. Maybe focus on delivering some words and policy with stronger impact like Joe Biden.”
Lindsay also quoted Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, who was born to an 18-year-old mother. He said, “Let me be as clear as possible. I think people’s families are off-limits, and people’s children are especially off-limits. This shouldn’t be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Gov. Palin’s performance as governor or her potential performance as a vice president. [Reporters should] back off these kinds of stories. How a family deals with issues and teenage children, that shouldn’t be the topic of our politics, and I hope that anybody who is supporting me understands that’s off-limits.”
LiLo then finished off her blog post with a bit of parental advice, urging moms and dads to talk to their kids about sex. She said, “I heard a woman say on Today on NBC that teens are feeling as if they have to grow up faster. Really? Because, I think that girls that are CHOOSING to be sexually active and are making a conscious decision to grow up faster….. I think that parents need to recognize how important it is to talk to their children about the things that can result from being sexually active if they aren’t protecting themselves (birth control, condoms, etc.)”

Thank you, Melissa. Choosing Palin is a prime example of McCain’s rash decision-making. It’s obvious that she wasn’t vetted properly. And I don’t think we’ve heard the whole story. I’m not at all sure that Bristol isn’t already the mother of Trig, and they’ve fabricated this story to cover-up Palin’s lies when she faked her pregnancy last spring. As an OB nurse, I can tell you it’s incredibly dangerous to get on a plane for an 8-hour flight when you’re leaking amniotic fluid in the 8th month of pregnancy (especially when it’s your fifth pregnancy)! Something isn’t right, and it’s not just a teenage pregnancy.
lindsay should take care of herself before talking about other peoples problems, but in this i think she is right.

Why are you so concerned with what Palin’s teenage daugter? Are you this concerned about Obama’s choice of preacher? Just because Sarah Palin is conservative, doesn’t mean that her children are. Most every parent will agree that they would prefer their children to wait to have sex until marriage but, how many people actually do that? My point is parents can have their views but it doesn’t mean that a 17 year-old is going to follow them.
Oh, and you need to really get a life. I mean really, you’re not convinced that this isn’t Bristol’s second pregnancy? You’re just a loser trying to start a rumor!

You know it is quite interesting that Miss Lohan states that:

When the fact this is, Sarah Palin trying to having the appearance of transparency in response to the false allegation that her son with downs syndrome was not hers but her daughters. Which has been has been proven to be a gross rumor.
Now as for Sarah Palin’s christian values, she has act true to her faith. Knowing that we all are not perfect, and should be forgiven the mistakes that we make. And further more not judge for their mistakes but show compassion and love. Which she has shown.

This is America, and it’s called freedom of speech. Nobody forced you to read what she wrote, or comment about it. She has every right to voice her opinion, regardless of whether she’s had trouble in her past or not. Palin could have chosen a better arena to voice her side of the Trig story; there was no need to present a speech about it. Palin needs to get her own house in order before she tries to contribute to a nation. Palin is trying to push abstinence, and she has a pregnant 17 year old. There is a severe disconnect going on in that household, and if she can’t communicate with her own child, how is she going to communicate with a nation? If she doesn’t know what her own child is doing, how is she going to keep tabs on America and our interactions with other countries?
And we’ve once again seen how rash McCain can be. He chose Palin for the female vote. That’s obvious. And pathetic. He’s the type of man that will land us in the middle of another war if he ends up in the office. And despite what you may think, its Republicans that constantly raise the taxes, not Democrats, but the Republicans give tax credits to the rich while Democrats want to help out the middle and lower classes. At least Obama wants to bring jobs back to America and limit outsourcing, as well as finding alternative fuel/energy options. Sure, he may be lacking in experience, but look at all the people that have had “experience” and look at the state that our country is in right now. In my eyes, all the experience in the world has not stopped our economy from taking a hit, it has not stopped our mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, daughters, sons, and friends from dying in a unnecessary war, it has not stopped the loss of jobs from outsourcing, it has not help Katrina victims…..It would seem that the lack of experience may actually count in Obama’s favor, as he’ll be a lot more option to suggestions and a lot more creative in regards to finding solutions to the numerous problems that “experienced” people have caused us.
Some of you really need to wake up and point fingers at the right people, because Lindsay Lohan hasn’t done anything to any of you. I highly doubt that any of you are candidates for sainthood, so shut up.
