OlderMichael Phelps Joins ‘Entourage’
Swimming champion Michael Phelps will make a cameo on the HBO comedy Entourage later this year, reports EW.
The 23-year-old Olympian literally stumbled upon the show’s set while it was recently shooting in Manhattan. Series producer Doug Ellin immediately wrote Phelps into the episode after learning how Phelps was a big fan.
Entourage kicks begins its fifth season @ 10PM on Sunday, Sept. 7 on HBO. For more information, visit HBO.com.

It is impossible not to be happy for this kid, he is such a down to earth kind of guy.

I have a friend who is in track and field in Michigan. He knows Phelps and says he is just another jock trying to get laid.
His teeth could star in their own show.
I hope he doesn’t have delusions of being an actor, because he’s nothing to look at without the airbrushing from photoshoots.
I like how people have totally forgotten his DUI bust in 2004, he’s no angel!

Michael has no desire to be an actor, he is doing this because that is what the public and the advertisors want, he doesn’t contact them they contact his agent who in turn books him on these shows, most of the time he doesn’t even know what he is doing from day to day. He could not care less about any of this stuff he is looking forward to all this dying down and relaxing in his new Baltimore Condo with his friends and family.
Phelps Using $1M Bonus To Start Swim Foundation
NEW YORK (AP) ―
Swimmer Michael Phelps says he’s using a $1 million bonus from Speedo for tying Mark Spitz’s seven gold medals in one Olympics to start a foundation promoting water safety and youth swimming.
Joe Gromek, president and CEO of Warnaco, Speedo’s U.S. parent company, presented a $1 million check to Phelps on Tuesday morning on the Today show.
Spokeswoman Audra Silverman says Speedo International and the Warnaco Foundation are also donating $200,000 to the Michael Phelps Foundation to commemorate his record eight gold medals at the Beijing Games.
Speedo offered the bonus before the Athens Olympics in 2004 and Silverman says the offer still stood last month, when Phelps matched the record.
Phelps plans to launch the foundation with an eight-city tour to raise awareness of the sport and promote water safety.

#6, maybe people have forgotten about his DUI, but believe me he hasn’t, if you notice all the pictures of him at parties during and after the olympic the only thing you see him drinking is water. He was very disappointed in himself and not only that but it tore him up that he disappointed his mom like that. It will never happen again.

No Tina, it’s not that people have forgotten his drug bust, it’s just that some of us have chosen to forgive him and move on. Why hold a grudge anyhow? Holding grudges accomplishes nothing, except to spawn hatred toward someone for making a mistake. It’s not like any of us have never made mistakes.
