John McCain’s vice presidential running mate, Sarah Palin, takes this week’s cover of Us Weekly, along with newborn Trig, afflicted with Down syndrome. The mag talks about her firm stance on antiabortion (even in cases of rape) and her opposition to sex-education classes (she believes in abstinence instruction for teens).
Rudy Giuliani, the former New York mayor, recently spoke about the vetting of Palin with CNN. He sang praises of Palin, saying, “She’s got the domestic experience, and she’s got the judgment. And she’s got what John McCain, I know, finds very attractive, which is a real independent spirit and a person who can produce results.”
“Barack Obama is not ready. Barack Obama’s never run a city, never run a state, never run an agency, never run a business, never made a payroll, has never really negotiated, which is why he makes so many mistakes on how to negotiate. You know, negotiate without preconditions, that’s absurd.
“Based on what I know, she was thoroughly vetted. I think John knew her, knew what she accomplished in Alaska, a lot of it has been an open book. I think the issues that are coming out now, all the ones that I have heard so far, are ones that he knew in advance, talked to her about it on Friday. And, he has confidence — this is after all the main criteria of getting selected as vice president, the presidential candidate has to have confidence that you’ve got what he needs to accomplish the job.”

This woman is an embarrassment and a disaster! She preaches family, who’s there for her kids, she preaches pro-life with a 17 year old pregnant daughter – why weren’t you monitoring you teen – where were you Sarah – 17 year olds and younger need those talks on why they shouldn’t yet be parents – BEFORE they get pregnant. Or maybe she got pregnant to get out of that house! You preach that there will be an advocate for parents with children of special needs – yet
you don’t advocate health care! Not all people have your healthcare or have the extra $ in their towns from YOUR special interests. You are a liar and you only care about yourself!

The mag cover from US Weekly proves beyond a doubt, that contrary to the name of the other organization….the MEDIA DOESN’T REALLY MATTER.
I don’t understand where she is going to find the time to care for four kids plus one with special needs that needs even more of her time. Is it really that important to run a country when your kids need you. I feel really bad for her kids plus the baby. Her kids need her and they should come first not the campaign look her 17 year old daughter is preganant , people keep saying oh things happen and they happen in every family, I say thats BS and someone in that household isn’t doing their job and paying enough attention to the kids. I have no clue why she is governor or why McCain chose her to be vice president. What if something happens to McCain she is going to be our President I do not want her for a president I am sorry. I think its ridiculous that she keeps having all these kids and wants this career that requires so much of her time how can she be a good mother. I think Sarah is just as irresponsible as her daughter. Now can’t people see why kind of person she is she puts her career before her kids and we want her as out Vice president What is this world coming too?? Also she is a consdervative republic. I don’t think soo. I am voting for Obama. I don’t like Mccain and I don’t like SArah at all ..
And yes it is her fault her 17 year old is preganant because up until 18 your kid is still your responsibility and while SArah is out trying to heighten her career, Her underage daughter is at her boyfriend ’s house alone. And it amazes me that she deserves to be even considered for Vice President.
Reform? Prosperity? Peace? Damn those republicans when all they want to do is be there right in front of the conflict. Opening a new front in Georgia to confront Russia? Yah, open a new front and spread your army too thin, I will see that the US will be humiliated once they start all the wars in the world. They did not even won the war in Afghanistan, what more in Iraq. What more, as Palin said, US will confront Russia. Oh come on.
If americans will vote for another Republican term, then I don’t know if Americans are just dumb or just blind. Yah, instead of opening up, you will be closing up to other countries like Iran. Just pathetic.
