Double Your Sarah Palin Pleasure
Both Republicans and Democrats will be pleased that OK! Magazine is going with a double cover this week.
The Sarah Palin cover highlights both baby scandals the family is facing. The cover story will delve into how Sarah’s standing by her 17-year-old pregnant daughter Bristol plus the “real truth” about her baby son Trig, who has Down Syndrome.
The Barack Obama cover is a tad more lighthearted with the Democratic nominee talking about life with his daughters, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7. The girls apparently get Harry Potter read to them before bed and have their parents sit front row at their dance recitals.
And guess who’s on the cover of Us Weekly this week too? Yep, Palin!

Funny how Palin is only pimping her down syndrome grandchild, oh excuse me her son on the cover of Usweakly, Intouch & people. I guess her other kids are too much of an embarassment or risk for her now, plus you always get more sympathy from showing the kid that has the disability.
Also this crap about Obama’s mama being 18 when she started having children is a farce the Republicans has started. First off 18 (not 16 & 17) is an adult, a young adult but an adult. Secondly, Obama’s mother (God rest her soul) is not running for VP of the USA with the possibility of being president in the event ol’ father time McCain checks out.
If one republican say one thing it spreads like wild fire in their camp and every other republican repeats the same garbage because somebody else said it. Recycled, rehashed republican gossip and trash talk nothing more.
Wow, Republicans have got to be the biggest hypocrites in the world. I’m sorry, but a story about a loving father and his children is slightly more positive than a teenage girl becoming a mother. Why is there a double standard? The same people who rail against teenage pregnancy when they’re talking about girls in the inner city are now praising the Palins’ because their daughter is pregnant and she’s keeping the baby. What about values? Morals? Bad role model? You know the stuff you were saying about Jamie Lynn Spears? This party has decided what’s moral in this country for the last twenty years and they have taken aim at everyone and now that their candidate for VP is laded with all of this baggage, now everything is off limits and below the belt. But, I remember a few short weeks ago when these same blowhards were posting pictures of John Edwards’ love child. Isn’t she an innocent? Didn’t she deserve to be shielded from the prying eyes of the public? And please stop with the comparisons of Palin’s and Obama’s record. Obama has been a legislator for over 12 years on the state and national level. He has written countless pieces of legislation and has foreign policy experience. And oh yeah, he’s really, really smart. I really don’t understand the necessity of McCain supporters devaluing Obama’s lifetime of experience to highlight how qualified Palin is. I will take the smart guy who has worked hard and earned what he has rather than the guy who finished in the bottom 1% of his class and is only here because of his wife’s money.
Obama did not give consent or do this interview I am sure as well as Plain did not do this interview either.
This is just the media. Obama did say two times that families are of limits and he has said this before Plain was nominated. He said this a few months ago. He just said hismother was an 18 yr. old young mom. He just said leave this alone.
I do believe leave Plains kids, both of them , a;pne and they should be off limts as well ,as the Biden kids, McCain kids.
I am a Democrat and I can say this. Can you Republicans say this? No.
Usually when a teenager gets pregnant someone asks about the parent’s role in the story. Sarah Palin doesn’t get a pass because she’s running for office.
Man, not another white trailer trash family. The simple fact is that Palin’s daughter Bristol was just too horny and couldn’t control her impulses, and not knowing the options she had to prevent unwanted pregnancy, is now 5 months pregnant. This only shows how bad of a mother Sarah is, who can’t even keep her kids on tab. I mean, it’s not completely Bristol’s (an immature 17-yr-old) fault. The parents need to be blamed for not raising their kids properly as well! Sarah Palin needs to take partial responsibility for not raising her kids better so they wouldn’t get unwanted pregnancies while still in high school!
All these people supporting Palin are not interested in her policies or what the Republican values are. They just want to see a white man win at all cost hence their personal attacks on Obama and all the name calling. Palin is the one who supported no sex education and no sex until your are married, Had she supported sex education or safe sex, she would have instilled this into her daughter and she would not be pregnant at 17. It is their party that labels everything black or white and allows no room for weakness because they see weakness or mistake as a sign of failure. They failed to understand that even if your world is perfect there is no gurantee on how your children will turn out. We are all fallible to mistakes and just because you are raised in a two parent family household does not guarantee your children will turn out better human beings than one raised by a single parent. If they didn’t preach pecfection so much people might feel for them more. Even as this incident unfolds, Palin is still planning on forcing her daughter and the young man to marry to maintain certain image they believe the society should live by regardless of how her daughter and this boy genuinely feels. Isn’t this false presentation of family life because common sense tells you it will not work in the long run but she is determined to maintain this false image. She intends to protect her VP position at the expense of her daughter’s happiness. What if this young man refuses to be dragged into a shot-gun wedding , what then? Has she really thought how this will impact on her daughter and the publicity that this will generate.
Palin is a criminal and should be in jail.
Her and her whole family is TRASH. How on earth could ANYBODY be against sex education?
All kids should be taught about sex, its a natural thing. They have to know about it and how to protect themselves.
You know I find it HILARIOUS how conservatives with “morals” who are against sex education are the ones who have their kids come home pregnant. LMAO!

To all you Republican commentors applauding Palin for her strong stance and beliefs on ProLife and going through and “giving birth” to a baby with Down Syndrome, how do you explain her contradicting strong stance on war? Why would someone be a strong advocate for saving unborn babies but sends living people with loving families and thriving lives to die (for a pointless and selfish reasons) in war? What part of that makes sense? How can someone say they don’t want SexEd in schools but expect kids not to get pregnant? Obviously it didn’t work for HER or her DAUGHTER. How can you preach family values but your daughter is 17 and taking pictures with beer bottles and other alcoholic beverages? Not to say that other people don’t do this, but I don’t understand how most Republicans like to put on these “perfect” facades but they are the ones with all the problems! Stop trying to distract us with all this bullshit so we don’t notice how UNQUALIFIED she is. Wasn’t that the whole campaign McCain was running against Obama? Since when is it a scandal to give birth to a child with Down’s Syndrome? All children are special, some just need a little extra attention and care, but I would hardly call it a scandal. The liberal media at work again.
It wasnt’ a scandal when Obama’s mother got preggers in college then married the father. If one teenage pregnancy is, then so is Obama’s mother.
It’s a cruel world when we can all hide behind our pc’s and spit out venom…

For the umptenth time Obama mother was not, again was not running for VP of the United States of America!! You can not use her as an excuse to try to curtail the cover up that this Palin woman and the GOP tried to pull over America’s eyes! It would not be a big deal if she didn’t try to hide it. She only came out about it because of the other scaving scandal that was about to hit that she was not Trig’s mama, she is his grandma! That is the only reason it came out, not that she was proud of her daughter, she didn’t mind selling her down syndrome baby to you, she didn’t mind telling you about her son going to Iraq, no she didn’t mind telling the people about that because does things would garner her compassion, sympathy and the overall biggie VOTES!

Americans are such idiots. They have sex- get pregnant and want an abortion.
If yu have unprotected sex, or get pregnant- then just consider adoption. Plenty of folks will adopt a baby!
