The first reviews are in from last nigiht’s two-hour premiere of the much-buzzed-about 90210. Check it.

I have high hopes for this show and have already gotten into the story line…is Kelly’s son Brandons? I would love it if he came back. I think it would of been nice to just do a now of the original 90210 cast, what their lives are like now…that may of been boring, but so far with the pilot it was good. I like all the characters besides Naomi…but you always have to have that one girl on a show like this. Next weeks show will determine if it is good or not, you can’t really judge off the pilot as they have so much to get done in that 2 hour window, with introducing characters etc. So far though I am happy with it.
I absolutely loved the premiere! I didn’t see Silver as being the evil, blog creating antagonist type, so that was a pleasant surprise. Kind of reminded me of Janis Ian in Mean Girls. And I LOVED that the parents had such a strong storyline from the get go. Mainly because I get to stare at Rob Estes :)

This was not bad. Second hour was much better than the first. I will be watching this, just like I watched the first one.
I thought it was great. Nothing will ever be able to compare to the original BH 90210, but I loved it. Especially how there were original characters on it!
i watched the 1st 90210 with my mother every week as a child. and i have to the the new 90210 is a good show, people are mad because the 1st one is better? no mater what the 90210 is a classic and a remake cant change that, i did enjoy the show and plan on watching in every tuesday. As for it being as good as the oc thats a never, nothing will beat that show. (rip oc) =D

The show really is just a mixture of all those teen dramas and there wasn;t really anything special about the pilot.
BIG flop for me.
This show sucks!!! I was so dissapointed as i was watching it, The acting alone was horrible. At least with gossip girl and all the other shows the characters know how to act. The sooner they cancle this lame show the better the original 90210 should be ashamed.
I was a huge fan of the original so I thought I’d give this one a shot and it wasn’t half bad. It intrigued me enought to schedule my DVR to record it and I’ll watch it again this coming week.
I would love to see more of the old characters back for the original. Maybe if it becomes a hit will entice more of the originals to return. :0)
This way it would appeal to more age groups.
The writers of this show should be shot. It was an appalling attempt at trying to match the wit and engrossing appeal of gossip girl. The characters are shallow and the story lines are complete rehash.
This will last half a season and everyone will realise that hype is no match for storyline. boring boring boring.
I will give it a few more episodes, but I’m not holding my breath.
Very dissappointed
The new “kids” all look like dried-up 30-year-old coke-heads. While it’s true that Tori Spelling would’ve fit right in (sans the fake knockers), I missed the tiny hint of baby fat present during Brenda and Kelly’s early years.
Hollywood’s anorexia obsession is getting really old.
more people should be slender like them!! hello eople take a hint and exercise more - eat fresh fuit and veggies, stop eating so much junk.
GOSSIP GIRL FOR LYFE HOLMES!
The show is ok but I bet the reason why it is a “hit” so far is because all the original Beverly Hills 90210 viewers tuned in! I’m a firm believer that if you do bring back more of the original cast and give them more story lines your viewing audience would double! This show has the ability to be a show for all ages that the entire family can enjoy! I personally hope to see more Kelly, Brenda, Brandon, Dillon, Donna and David!!!!!! Why not….it can’t hurt?
Aaron Spelling would have been livid by the choice of Shenae Grimes for actress for this role. This lady cant act for s@#t!!! I have always been a dedicated 90210 fan and have watched every episode of the original series when I was younger. Gotta give Jennie Garth and Shannon Doherty credit, their performances are still awesome, even Ann Gillespie still has it, but this choice of Shenae Grimes for lead they need their heads read. She is so fake, her actings appalling, you don’t believe a word that comes out of her mouth and her stupid little giggles like shes trying to be nice grrr, its like someone scraping their nails down the blackboard. I just hope Tori comes back and has some say in this, seeing it was her Dads show Shenae is destroying and throws her ass right out of there before the show ends up as another failed remake because I sure can’t bear the thought of watching much more of her.
I think its an OK show but the actors are not all that great,, espacially NIOMIE she sucks at acting its like she is trying tooooooo freakin hard.. just like in that dumb movie she was recently in .. i think they just need someone to replace her and the show might be better..
But my favs are still GG and OTH

I liked it enough to tune in again… I don’t like the Shenae Grimes as the lead… her facial expressions are getting irritating…. she just isn’t right for the role. Naomi is a fabulous character! One problem is that the cast don’t look like teenagers….. Ratings will drop if they can’t keep the show on a regular schedule. If it isn’t off the air for holidays, then it is in some sort of repeat mode. It gets old trying to tune in only to be disappointed.

I am a HUGE fan of the original series (all 10 seasons). In fact I still watch those episodes all the time. And I have to say I HATE this show. It is not nearly as good as the originals. In fact its incredibly boring. I have to admit I have only watched three episodes though and that is more than enough for me.
I absolutely love this show, although i have not seen the original 90210, i think the new series would beat it by a mile. BEST actors, BEST plot and BEST setting. altogether the best show i have ever watched
although, i dont like what there doing with annie’s character.. a little too predictable!
This show is such a dissapointment its not edgy or contemporary. It will never be able to compare to the original. The acting is horrible and outrageously unrealistic The only good character in the show is kelly!! big suprise and she is barely on it so it might as well be a different show entirely. Gossip girl might be unrealistic at times but the acting is far superior.
