Britney Spears To Open VMAs — CONFIRMED!
Britney Spears will open the 2008 Video Music Awards, confirms MTV
“MTV has long played an important role in my career,” Britney says in a statement. “How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMA’s? I’m excited to open the entire show, to say hi to my fans and to be nominated.”
Although Brit Brit is kicking off this year’s VMAs, there will not be a performance. So what will it be? A surprise that should not to be missed!
Britney is nominated this year for Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video of the Year for “Piece of Me.”
The VMAs will air this Sunday, September 7th @ 9PM ET/PT on MTV.

I love Britney and am very happy for how she’s turned her life around lately. But I dont know what could even be more shocking then what she’s done in the past at the VMAs?
