OlderKate Walsh: Private Practice Party!
Kate Walsh rubs shoulders with creator/producer Shonda Rhimes at the release party for the Private Practice: The Complete First Season DVD on Tuesday in Hollywood. The 40-year-old redhead paired her figure-flattering Jenny Packham mini with peep-toe Chanel shoes.
Shonda recently shared that Addison may, once again, return to Grey’s Anatomy next season sometime: “I don’t know if it’s going to work with the story, and we don’t want her to come back for a visit if it doesn’t feel important, something only Addison can do. But the idea is on the table.”
The complete first season of Private Practice hits DVD shelves on Tuesday, September 16. The second season of the medical drama premieres on Wednesday, October 1 @ 9PM ET/PT on ABC.

Kate Walsh will appear live on stage at iO WEST in Hollywood this Monday, September 8. Kate will host THE ARMANDO SHOW, sharing personal anecdotes inspired by an audience suggestion. iO WEST’s team of veteran improvisers will, in turn, draw inspiration from Kate’s monologues to create hilarious scenes on the fly.
Kate already played the master of ceremonies for THE ARMANDO SHOW back in February, during the WGA strike.
