Question: If you were told you were the only one who could and would do the job of VP and you were the one they wanted badly, the one who could change things and you genuinely believed that the public would judge you on your record and policies and your family would be embraced and accepted at face value, what would you do?

SARAH IS SO BRAVE it brings me to tears and sits me down when I see the way she deals with everything on her plate with perfect grace, boldness, fairness, and balance.

Whatr are you talking about. Did McCaian tell PAlin all this BS. If so, and she believed, then she is too naive to even be Governor. And I hope her husband was able to breast feed the Down Syndrome babay while she went back to work 3 dauys after giving birth.

So it’s Ok for Paln to kill animals for fsport, but a girl who is raped by a stranger or family member does not have the right to end the pregnancy even in very early stages???? She’s a loser and does not represent women, McCain could of done better.

Someone brought up a good question = When does Mrs. Sarah Palin hold her baby? Why doesn’t the father hold his baby? Does the mother and father bond with the baby? Where’s Brad Pitt when you need him? He would hold the baby. Why is a baby that has special needs being strategically held by the children?

I do not care about this woman’s political agenda.

it’s funny how people are saying that Sarah is forcing Levi to marry her daughter… as if he didn’t have any mother and father who could “do something” against it or in favor of such marriage.

And before you start thinking how the Palinparents will be able to take care of their kids while in office, you should know that the VP’s family lives in a designated house on the southeast corner of 34th Street and Massachusetts Avenue in Washington DC.

In the United States the Vice-President has few formal duties, and the importance of the position relies almost solely on the fact that the holder takes over the Presidency if the incumbent dies, retires, or is impeached; they are ‘a heartbeat away from the presidency’. The Vice-President presides over the Senate, and votes in the case of ties. Presidents have tried to give the Vice-President roles in specific areas of policy, as roving ambassadors, or as heads of ad hoc agencies to deal with domestic issues.

So if people are worried if Sarah and Todd would have problems taking care of their kids, it seems like they would have more time to devote to family than when she was governor. Not to mention that as VP, you have your own staff to take care of the house, cook, drive, etc.

Congress people have to leave their families behind in their home state when in DC if they don’t have a residence there. Isn’t that a worse set-up especially if you have young kids? Don’t tell me that all the females in Congress are childless and unmarried. How did they manage all that commute and long absences? Are they all bad parents now?

They keep talking about doing what the individual wants. Yeah, that’s all well and good when you have shady deals with lobbyists, then say that government needs reform (to make it EASIER to deal with lobbyists?? BOTH Palin and McCain claim to be reformers but are in bed with lobbyists).
Do whatever you want is great while you make millions and the country’s economy slides away. Do whatever you want and destroy a country to make money while terrorists proliferate and our allies are repulsed.

I think Obama’s message of taking individual responsibility, and keeping your community in mind while caring for each other is much better.

I guess if Republicans keep saying Palin has more experience than Obama often enough, the sheep will believe it.

Being a governor of a state with a tiny population far away from the rest of the country is not the same as working in the Senate on national issues, foreign issues, and with both sides. He has learned how to compromise — and that’s why he got Biden, to help in those relationships in the Congress which he knows are key to getting anything accomplished.

What is Palin going to do? Insist on policies like abstinence, that even while proven wrong in her own home she is too rigid to be flexible on? I think that the choice is so obvious, but then again, Americans were foolish enough to fall for Rove’s tactics last time, too.

People feel sorry for pathetic loser Levi Johnston? The kid with the nasty mouth who is ” not ready to be a father”, and ” did NOT want kids to begin with”? ( myspace page ). Then he went on to use vulgar language I won’t use on here to describe how no-one will touch his—, without getting f——.! THAT no-one F- - - - with him without paying for it, and he will not have anyone telling him what to do. WOW… Nice. He also at one point said would NOT come to the Convention, and NOW all of a sudden, his JUNK has been removed from the internet, his friends have been warned NOT to give interviews about him ( CNN ), and NOW he is at the convention trying to act like he is part of the Palin family. Well, give me a freaking break……. He looks STUPID, BORED, ARROGANT AND NERDY…….. i AGREE WITH THE COMMENTS above, that other stuff is being hidden, and will come out eventually. McCain has not had enough time to get in deep with Sarah and her brood………………. he knows NOTHING !!!!! But, it will be like a ” peyton place” when things come to light.
