Katie Holmes carries 2-year-old daughter Suri back to their New York City apartment after spending Wednesday evening at Chelsea Piers.
Before the Anti-Scientology Crusader Group Anonymous storm Katie’s Broadway show All My Sons, on September 3rd, at 7:30 AM, the Human Rights and internet subculture group Anonymous will be holding a picket outside of the New Village Academy private school in Calabasas, Calif., specifically against the use of L. Ron Hubbard’s and The Church of Scientology’s Study Tech and Ethics programs the school is implementing.
New Village Academy is a private elementary school founded and funded by actor Will Smith. Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, selected the management for the school.

Other than the gold shoes, which hopefully have been retired, does this kid ever wear the same clothes twice?
Hope the kid doesn’t go blind from flashbulbs. It’d be like fireworks everywhere you go, and get tiresome after a while.
Look people, “Save Katie” is just metaphor, for the calling attention to the abuses of Scientology. And yes, you can protest Scientology and also be responsible and active about the environment and other issues. The reason some Anonymous are involved in protesting Scientology, is that it is one thing that one person’s effort CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE.
Anytime people read or see a protest, they may be curious enough to read about THE TRUTH behind the lies and pseudo-science cult of Scientology, and it may also save someone from getting trapped in this abusive, money-grubbing cult.

May I ask who the hell you think you are dictating to anyone and everyone who doesn’t agree with you? How utterly arrogant!
Tell me something. Do you agree with the fact that children raised in Scientology are forced to work rather than get an sufficient education?
Do you agree that families should be backrupted by Scientology when they are forced to give their entire life savings to reach the highest levels?
Do you agree that anyone who does not agree with Scientology should be “disposed of without sorrow” (that’s a direct quote from L. Ron Hubbard)?
Do you agree that all Psychiatrists should be destroyed (another Scientology policy)?
Do you agree that any critic of Scientology should be “fair gamed” into submission? Fair game is the practice of accusing the critic of all kinds of crimes and attempting to destroy their lives whether the information is true or not.
Do you agree with their bigoted policies that call all non-white people “mud people” who are of lesser intelligence?
That’s just the beginning.
You seem very quick to attack anyone who doesn’t agree with you, yet you stand up for an organization, of which Ms. Holmes is a part, that is dangerous.

I’m a New Yorker and it was chilly the other nite so I understand why Katie was wearing a jacket. What I don’t understand is why Suri is in a sundress! Does Katie think only she feels the cold?
Also, since Katie is taking Suri to the gym, why is she wearing heels? Because she has to look good for the photographers, that’s why!!
I’m so over Katie Holmes. She’s not much of a Mother when she ignores so many obvious things about her child’s well being. Keeping on the bottle when it’s clearly well beyond the time when it’s medically advised, not putting a sweater on the child when it’s obviously chilly out, leaving her in overfull diapers when she clearly needs to be changed (see pictures of her at the playground a couple of weeks ago), etc. She’s not much of Mother and seems more interested in attracting attention for herself than protecting her child.
I wouldn’t see a film or play this woman was in for all the tea in China.

You keep espousing the argument that the paps are everywhere and poor wittle Katie can’t escape them.
Funny, how Tom manages to get to and from the apartment without us seeing him being photographed at the airport, in the limo etc. Funny how this was a holiday weekend and we didn’t see Katie yesterday did we? And I think Sunday’s pic was from Saturday. Where was Katie? Home alone in the apartment with Suri? Which goes against you wanting Suri outside in the fresh air. I bet Katie and Suri were back in CA with Tom. Gosh and Golly Gee, however, did she evade the paps for two whole days?
In the same vein, Dracula/Clinton, how come the paps were unable to get pictures of Suri all last week? Tom was able to avoid the photographers with Suri and Katie was able to avoid them all weekend.
IF Tomkat wants to evade the papparazzi, they do a heck of a good job. The problem is, Katie (and Tom at times) doesn’t want to. She uses her child as a PR tool to gain publicity for herself. The world is far more interested in looking at pictures of her when she’s holding her adorable daughter. Otherwise….meh. Not so much. I’d also like to see her put proper clothing on her child, brush her hair occasionally and put some shoes on her. Suri looks messy and unkempt which is a shame. You don’t see other celebrities children looking like that.
Also, personal publicity does not always equal box office sales. All My Sons is not selling tickets the way it should. Tickets for opening week are still very available - I checked out of curiosity. If you know anything about Broadway, that’s unheard of. Her last movie was a failure and the reviews were horrible as well.
Katie Holmes is a papparrazi curiosity in the same vein as Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears. She’s not a “star” based on her work or people’s interest in it. She’s merely a curiosity. I imagine that’s not what she had in mind for herself when she married Tom Cruise. Bet she thought she might end up like Nicole Kidman.
Then again, Kidman can actually ACT and didn’t break out and become an Oscar winner until AFTER Cruise.
Katie is no Nicole Kidman. She’s a second class actress and tabloid staple married to a man who has become a bit of a laughingstock and liability. The sad part is, it’s all her own doing and I actually think she enjoys it. How pathetic.

Hi–I checked too. With the rumors that Tom’s A list friends are attending the first night, I noticed tickets are moving a little better for the first few shows, but if you try for tickets even as early as two weeks in–wow, you can get some damn good seats. I got 10th row center for two. Three weeks later I got I think 13th row center for four. Yep, they are selling like hotcakes. I be the show closes early if this keeps up. They aren’t going to be able to afford to keep it playing. Katie has very little star/selling power. What a colossal gaffe when they moved the play from the smaller theatre to this larger one. She possibly could have sold the smaller theatre out and now she just looks like a loser. All the publicity has been about her and not the true actors: Lithgow, Weist and Patrick!

Crazy? His mother? Sisters? Her family can’t say a word or they will be disconnected (look it up). Other Scientologists? HA! And they take Suri Cruise outside in public so people will then think she’s good mother which translates to good actress and they’ll then decide to shell out time and money to see a play?

There ARE plenty of Suri Cruise-less TomKat pics. Maybe Holmes wanted to get away from the paparazzi madness and spend time inside with her daughter that sunday? Maybe Cruise went to a remote lodge area with his daughter? (It’s not like these rich folks couldn’t afford playskool slides and whatever that are more than you spend in a year.) There are a hundred different explanations but you choose that they have the power to control the paparazzi instead. Control the paparazzi?
Kidman was already a huge star when Cruise divorced her. She already filmed her first Oscar winning performance when Cruise served her!
