Brad Pitt: Oh, Canada!
Brad Pitt catches a departing flight out of Marseille, France en route to Canada for the 33rd Annual Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on Friday. Once again, he sported the “Boyd” sunglasses in espresso by Badgley Mischka.
The 44-year-old father-of-six will be promoting Burn After Reading, his new highly anticipated Coen Brothers comedy with BFF George Clooney. The film opens everywhere next Friday, September 12.
Brad’s ex, Jennifer Aniston, will also be in town to hype up Management, her new romantic comedy that she’s wooed by Steve Zahn and Woody Harrelson.

Nobody expected Angelina to go to Toronto. But I do think some people expected Brad to stay home with her.

Isn’t it interesting Lloyd Boy-Toyed is undertaking his latest media campaign to fight off rumors about everything under the tabloid sun—every topic save the one he wants to get out: that he sometimes likes young dudes in bed. Not Michael Jackson-style, mind you, but he sometimes likes ‘em young. And to keep quiet. And you know what that means, doncha girlfriends? Occasionally Mr. Boy-Toyed’s gotta give ‘em the green. What a cold, hard, cashed-out town this can be, huh?
Let’s see, Lloyd’s busy mouthing off about his nasty battles with most everybody in the Biz, not to mention his more cherished (and known) companions and relatives. He appears to be a total crank-a-thon, really, but don’t believe it for a sec. Oh, some of it’s real, that’s fer sure, but it’s mostly for show, I assure you.
I have firsthand knowledge of Lloyd’s more cunning agendas—not to mention the ones he prefers to get underway under the covers. Don’t ask me how. I can’t tell! I’m a married man now! I would never embark on something as nasty as tattling ‘tween the sheets when I’ve got a superhoney at home. Quite the opposite of how Lloyd goes about things, trust.
Really, though, as sloppy as Lloyd’s getting in the attempting-to-score department, he’s gonna be out long before our beloved Toothy Tile, I assure you. Oh, and Lloyd-baby, I don’t care, really. But, your blind-as-merde fans sure will. I say screw it, already! (Like you have so many guys.)
Its so sweet how Brad cares about his family.
He is flying the same day of the Festival because he wants to be near his Angie and his children all the time.
He will look tired tonight but right now that´s the less important thing for him.

Like someone else said, I live in Canada and nowhere on Canadian entertainment TV when the TIFF is mentioned (and there is TONS, TONS of coverage in all papers, mags, shows, ect.), does it mention the JA angle, them meeting, the whole stirring of the tabloit pot to generate sales. This is a US tabloid selling thing! Actually in Canada they have barely mentioned the movie Management (it doesn”t have a distributor apparently either). Toronto LOVES Brad Pitt and we don’t bash him here (then again, we are a kind nation). Many here still think of JA as “Brad Pitt’s X wife” (she’s more known for that these days than her acting!!!!) or that “girl from Friends”. She’s just not interesting enough otherwise.

She didn’t want to go to TIFF and that is why the changeling is not playing there, John M IS presenting the film at a different festival, and she is not confirmed for NEW YORK. Do a search or if you want I can post the articles .

TORONTO — Greetings from the Toronto International Film Festival.
This is such a vibrant city with a great energy. Add oodles of movie stars and 312 films from 64 countries and you have a seriously splendid party.
Just saw the new Coen Brothers comedy-thriller “Burn After Reading.” It’s a lot of fun. Brad Pitt is absolutely hilarious playing a kind of man-child who works at a fitness club and stumbles upon the secret memoir of a former CIA analyst.
I can’t remember when Pitt has been this funny. He seems to be more at ease whenever he’s eating (see “Ocean’s 11-13″) or drinking on screen. This time he’s doing a lot of slurping and “hydrating.”
The Coens blew everyone away last year in Toronto with “No Country for Old Men.”
This is a completely different kind of movie, a bit of a lark, albeit well-written and well-acted.
The cast is majorly fab: George Clooney, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, and Richard Jenkins.
I’ll be posting dispatches from here this weekend. The third edition of the festival opened Thursday night and runs through Sept. 13.

There have been several articles that stated that Eastwood was still tinkering with Changeling and it was not submitted for Toronto; New York Fest has an exclusivity clause for their movies, etc etc. I have not read an article that stated AJ did not want to attend Toronto. There are a lot of factors involved with a movie and not just the star. BP and AJ are handling their biz and family. I think they know their schedule and minds better than folks on a blog who want to write their own scripts. Let the folks live their lives. AJ is obviously happy with BP and her family. Can’t change that for all the whine in the world.

In Burn After Reading, the new farce from the Coen brothers that brought Brad Pitt-mania to town Friday night, the CIA spooks, Russian ambassadors and corporate lawyers who might have headlined one of last year’s films are relegated to the sidelines. It’s a trio of knuckleheads and losers – Pitt, Frances McDormand and George Clooney – who are front and centre here. They don’t understand a single thing that’s happening around them, or even see the obvious things right under their noses, yet they blunder ahead with all-American energy and force. They provide an idiot’s eye view of politics and corruption that’s both funny (on the surface) and deeply disturbing (when you realize how typical they are).
Actually changeling is not at the TIFF because eastwood is still tinkering with the movie, its his movie,angie has no say where eastwood and universal show the movie.If eastwood wanted the movie at the TIFF, it would have been there angie or no angie, just like deauville ,so lets drop the drama with angie doesn’t want to go , hello she has twins, this is no difference when she had shiloh,which has been pointed out ,i’m sorry but the TIFF, is no cannes, and thats the one that had angie there-and i’ll skip on the bromance between brad and george, the first time it’s cute the second time it looks childish and silly.

This is unbelievable… It’s like when she was pregnant and people wanted her to show up… WTF!! I hope that Angelina stays put in her house and doesn’t show up for a long time.
