Evan Rachel Wood is Lanvin Lovely
Evan Rachel Wood is glorious in a wonderfully deconstructed two-toned Lanvin dress at the photocall for her new movie, The Wrestler, at the Piazzale del Casino during the 2008 Venice Film Festival on Friday in Venice, Italy.
The 20-year-old actress plays estranged daughter Stephanie to Randy “Ram” Robinson (Mickey Rourke), a retired professional wrestler.
The Wrestler is directed by Darren Aronofsky (Rachel Weisz’s husband) and doesn’t have a release date yet. You can buy tickets to see The Wrestler at TIFF08.ca.

# 14 That hair on her forehead really does stand out. It looks like she “just this morning” did her hair. And the dress makes her look like a frightful bumble bee. Evan’s a decent actress, and the only reason she’s getting flack for being a ‘Dita rip-off’ is because she got his man; has she been dressing the same without him there would’ve been no comparisons.
Dita is fabulous, but unlike ERW, her talent will expire when she needs a hip.

I think it’s very sad to see such a young pretty girl to obviously bend over backwards to please her man, but that is Evans problem and she will learn her lesson as she grows older. None of our business.
Young impressionable girls always have and always will be doormats to their older boyfriends. Simply because they have not had enough experience with men to know better. It has nothing to do with their intelligence or anything like that. They just have to learn, like the rest of us.
Dita will find herself a good man who truly appreciates her for the Godess she is and who has the balls and brains to handle an adult, independent woman. Which Manson clearly didnt. Dita is obviously a very strong dame, which is what a true fan of hers should be focusing on.
I think Miss Wood looks absolutely lovely in these photos. And I have no doubt Manson really loves her, it shows in her eyes that she is loved.
We should all put our bitterness or jealousy or Dita-supporting anger aside and just be happy for her.
