John McCain Beats Barack Obama

John McCain Beats Barack Obama

In the race for ratings, John McCain has beat Barack Obama for viewership during their respective convention speeches.

According to Nielsen, McCain drew 38.9 million viewers for his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention while Obama only drew 38.4 million viewers for his acceptance speech. 38.9 million viewers ranks as the highest rated convention in history.

In related news, Oprah Winfrey has stated that she is more than willing to interview Sarah Palin after the campaign is over.

“The item in today’s Drudge Report is categorically untrue,” Oprah says. “There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over.”

Now onto the race for the White House!

NOBODY WANTS POOR WHITE TRASH IN THE WHITE HOUSE EITHER… What an embarrassment? 17 knocked up and engaged. Some parenting skills. What a hypocrite. Do Neocons believe in condemns? Is Bristol that dumb she can’t tell somebody to wrap it up? Plus, look at those dumb names she named her kids? POOR WHITE TRASH AT IT’S BEST.

aRE TAX pAYERS Going to Pay... @ 09/05/2008 at 8:40 pm

Are tax payer’s Going to pay for Day Care?

I hope John McCain wins

for me it comes down to i think will best be able to defend american interests and protect us from foreign aggression. on one had we have senator mccain; a long distinguished military career, a former pow, many years of service in the us senate. on the other we have a junior senator with absolutely no military background and little experience in the senate.. for me there’s no question; the brownie points go to mccain.

why can democrats never except the fact that a republican did something better all democrats are so in love with themselves and dont give republicans respect enough even to see what they have to say. basically all democrats are nuts and barack suckkkks and will ruin this country. goooo mccain.

Mccain Palin 08 allll the way

Buck Farack

& labound what the hell does her daughter being pregnant at 17 have ANYTHING to do with her being vp. your just ignorant & obviously your the white trash if you are saying all this about someone else. get over yourself.

In her dreams, when the election is over. Palin will be Vice President , she has important things to take care of…and won’t return your calls, Oprah.

labound what dpes her daughter being pregnant have anything to do with her being vp. your just ignorant and your probably the white trash. & im also sure your a whiny little democrat who wants all your welfare paid for huh & that other democrat must be whitetrash to if he can cheat on his wife while he was pregnant HUH. actually think of something before you say your pointless ignorant bs,

uh all that means is that republicans are too closed minded to watch anything that does not featured Republicans, while Democrats actually tuned in along with the republicans to see McCain give his speech because we actually want to be informed.

McSlim SUCKS-lOOKS AT HIS fACE @ 09/05/2008 at 9:02 pm

Palin is Under Investigation for Misuse of Power. Some Change. Some Maverick. Seems like this is the same stuff she claims to CLEAN UP. Palin, we don’t want your baggage. That also includes the knocked up daughter.

aRE TAX pAYERS Going to Pay… @ 09/05/2008 at 8:40 pm

I hope we don’t have to pay for these hypocrites mistakes.

Funny, the rating numbers got front page coverage and accolades when they were reached by Obama, but when McCain surpasses those numbers it’s suddenly no big deal. Just shows how judgmental and hypocritical liberals can be. Keep pointing the finger as you give your empty vote to Obama without knowing why! Educate yourself before voting. If you watched both speeches, there’s no intelligent, sane person who would give their vote to anybody but McCain for president.

Vote McCain-Palin ‘08!!!

To GO PALIN @ 09/05/2008 at 8:55 pm

It says a lot about her neglecting her number one responsibility and that’s being a mother. It also shows that if her own daughter doesn’t practice what she (Palin) preaches, then how is Washington or the world or other countries going to take her seriously. She talks a tough game. I hope Biden tears her a&s apart in the debates. She did not mention anything at all in her speech about the problems that McSlime and his party has dug this country in. At all. Obama this, Obama that. For somebody who expects to clean up Washington, she sure was acting like a Washington Insider. Like others have said on the board, that speech was so bad that there where delegates caught sleeping during his presentation. Remember this, Palin is not the one for President, McSlime is. Gosh, those teeth where scary and hideous.

Watching that just shows nobody in their right mind would vote for McCain. My question to you is, what are his plans to

- Raise consumer confidence
- Build Trust with our World Alliance
- Build this economy back to the wonderful years under Clinton
- National Security
- Create more jobs
- Create equal pay for equal work

What did he mention last night to address these? I know Palin didn’t say crap about it because she was to busy being a Washington Insider.

As far as the ratings goes, I said it last week and I’ll say it again, everybody who watches these speeches are not entitled to vote for that candidate. With everybody watching him, he did a poor job convincing them to vote for him.

Sarah Palin a totally solid woman. McCain a true hero.

Obama is Osama in disguise.

mccain 08 @ 09/05/2008 at 9:21 pm

GO JOHN & SARAH!!! Great job! MCCAIN/PALIN 08!!!

mccain 08 @ 09/05/2008 at 9:25 pm

LA BOUND #101 - Obama’s mama was 17 too when she got pregnant with him. Guess that makes him white trash too along with his mama if that’s your criteria. Guess you don’t want him in the white house either. Give me a break!!!

goooooooooooo mccain!

MCCAIN MCCAIN MCCAIN MCCAIN!

YOUTH FOR MCCAIN!

This is my first time voting and I’m so glad that Sarah Palin is VP…
I’m actually excited for voting now!
PRO-LIFE!

You’re a prime example of the finger-pointing liberal I described. Thanks for volunteering!

Why don’t you answer your own questions regarding Obama before requesting others? You obviously can come up with good questions so you should be able to answer each. You attack anybody who supports McCain but have yet to post any substance as to what specifically Obama has feasibly planned on your behalf and in the country’s best interest, or such past achievements that directly relate. That was delivered throughout McCain’s speech.

Nobody is convincing anybody on this board, obviously. I don’t seriously think you will educate yourself or do a blind, side-by-side comparison of the two candidates. And you shouldn’t seriously think asking for McCains resume and qualifications is a convincing argument to vote for Obama. It’s sad you and so many are voting against McCain, not FOR anybody.

Vote McCain-Palin ‘08!!!

mccain-palin 08! @ 09/05/2008 at 9:38 pm

McCain for President ‘08 - LOOK AT THE ISSUES & QUALIFICATIONS!

I picture the McCain basher tying a knot in her Obama tee shirt and joining the “in crowd”! You’re too cool! Idiot.

McCain/Palin have my vote. I voted for Kerry last election.

McCain is an honorable man; he has integrity, determination, and a love of his country. I can’t really say all that about Obama. He’s too slick, and is sucking people in with his slickness. It’s disturbing.

I have a new admiratiion for McCain after watching the video at the beginning of his speech. And for all you people who are worried about his VP choice? Even if you don’t like her, how often in history has the VP had to take over? Only once in my lifetime. LBJ. So, get over it. BIden’s a loser, and he has as much of a chance of being President as Palin does. I won’t be making MY decision based on VP candidates.

Look at both candidates. Honestly, who do you trust with leading this country?? To keep it safe? To work with both parties to better our lives, and not just to push his own agenda through??

It’s not Obama.

no osama in the white house @ 09/05/2008 at 10:07 pm

What’s wrong with Palin’s childrens’ beautiful names?

Who names their son Obama? Horrible name, never heard of it in my life. Now that’s an embarrassment. Then, to make it worse, he has a muslim middle name, Hussein. So, pleeease leave Palin’s children alone.

I’m not too thrilled with the name Chelsea. One daughter and they name her Chelsea. What’s her nickname, Chel? Sea?

no osama in the white house @ 09/05/2008 at 10:15 pm

maybe his first name is Barack, not sure, but what difference does it make, that’s a horrible name too. His first, middle and last names are horrible just like him.
How can we have a muslim president? Somebody answer that.
Then the terrorists will feel like the USA is really their home.

Unbelievable, the republican are shielding Salah Palin from interviews or taking questions from reporters because untill now, she hasn’t told anybody about her agenda and they are jumping up and down. Only in America!

Back off on Oprah and peace out! 18 months Obama has faced reporters and serious interview does not equals to one week of no interviews by Salah Palin.

good for them @ 09/05/2008 at 10:53 pm

=====================================================
I am not American but I can see that the only solution for America is to have McCain for the next president.
1. Consumer confidence : the downturn of the economy works in cycle. Most of jobs have been lost due to offshore production, globalization.
2. Building trust in World Alliance: Clinton did nothing in his years in his role of building any relationship with any country really. All he did was playing deaf ears to whatever was going around the world. He let China do whatever they want and now China surpasses America in global market. He let those who are against America multiply in number, growing cells, pawns, claws into those giants.
3. If Americans want to mesmorize the ” wonderful years” with Bill Clinton then you must remember what exactly brought the foundation and base for ” wonderful time ” in order for Bill Clinton to be sitting, eating and spending in 8 years long. It had been the Republican
party that made ” income” and all that surplus from the Gulf War for Bill to be enjoy his leisure time without doing anything.
So when Bill left the White House for Junior Bush, there were holes of budget deficits everywhere. George Bush has been doing exactly what has been needed for America to recover debts and power. He applies the same strategy that was written since the establishment of the White House. However, he is not a smooth guy. He is not good with speeches and does not have that charisma and right image.
4. Creating more jobs.
When the current issue is resolved then you will see jobs. America can’t compete with China in goods and services jobs sector and America knows that. America needs that flow of money coming from another different sector and the White House people know where exactly it is. So until the issue is resolved then you will see jobs.

How and where you think Obama will bring jobs to you when your nation is in debt?? Where you can produce goods and services domestically with the same labor cost as in China? You think the elites in Hollywood who support the Democrats will split their millions to help your nation to create jobs for common people? Obama is good on the stage but he can’t and never will do to bring you back to the ” wonderful years”. Where on earth he can find the budget to do that? From what source of income?

4. National security ” The Democrats can play deaf ears like Clinton did in order to have security at the same time your nation can watch many more emerging giants coming in different directions and you will be like a turtle with a bunch of bunnies in a race.
American should be thankful for the Republicans like Reagan who ended the cold war, brought down the Berlin wall, and communist giant Russia.

Perhaps, America has run out of talents and so the choice of presidency is limited. BUT, if you are shortsighted and only want to satisfy your constant needs you will make a mistake. You have to be united, patient.

Patience is the key.
