OlderJohn McCain Beats Barack Obama
In the race for ratings, John McCain has beat Barack Obama for viewership during their respective convention speeches.
According to Nielsen, McCain drew 38.9 million viewers for his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention while Obama only drew 38.4 million viewers for his acceptance speech. 38.9 million viewers ranks as the highest rated convention in history.
In related news, Oprah Winfrey has stated that she is more than willing to interview Sarah Palin after the campaign is over.
“The item in today’s Drudge Report is categorically untrue,” Oprah says. “There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over.”
Now onto the race for the White House!

yes it would a good thing to have a black president; i’m with you there.
but please get this straight; the white house and presidency does not automatically belong to obama because he is black. he has to earn the right to be president and the problem is that for many people he has not. what these people want is a president with many years of experience which obama does not have. the idea that a junior senator should lead this country is impossible for them to consider.
equally as important is that obama has no military experience. whether you like it or not; many veterans who fought in america’s wars and some of those who serve in our military today do not see obama as commander in chief. (that’s what the president is by the way )i should know my brother is an aviator on board an aircraft carrier.
these two groups i mentioned make up a large voting block. and i can tell you right now that my father and uncles who fought in both WW 2 and korea will not vote for obama; not because he is black but because in their minds he does not have the proven ability to lead.
so next time you start spouting off your old, tired, and over used rants about racism; consider first the reality.
McCain has proven his mind is as twisted, desperate, and evil as his hugging partner, Bush, a feat that I thought nobody could accomplish. Actually, Bush almost looks normal when side-by-side this charleton freak! He needs to get off the drug that makes old men go stiff for their young women and lie on a psychiatrist’s couch for the next four years.

Its ok for the 17 yr old daughter of a politician to get pregnant, despite not being married, despite being underage and despite the fact im pretty sure the age of consent is 18 in most states of America.
But its then spun around to seem like a good and suddenly its helping her mother win votes of compassion Mcain!! All this while Britney spears sister gets pregnant underage and all hell breaks loose and shes shunned and called names and cursed.
The only difference is one family has LOTS of money and connections and lives in a big house. I dont personally have issues with teenagers being mothers, because its their choice to have sex at that age, but this is so hypercritical.
I’ve actually got more respect for Britney’s sisters, because atleast she’s going to have to struggle to raise her child while this other girl is going to have mothers money to help her out.
And yet they then have the nerve to try and put a bad image of the competition by saying hes inexperienced blah blah blah blah blah!!!
Its amazing how Americans can be SOOo judgemnt when it suits them, and yet they dont judge this women for her daughter gettng pregnant?
I wouldnt be surprised if the girl wanted to abort the kid, but her mother wont let her because “it would be bad for image”.

It seems to me not all American people know the history of their nation. I advice you open the history book and read page by page about the birth of your nation, the revolutions, the White House and what made you the most powerful and rich country in the world.
The past few years have been tough for America and everyone starts to forget all the past and history.

You open your history book for the White House and do a review.
If you want to have a better economy, ask yourself what you are specialized in and what you are good at and where and which market you can make the most from. From what resources ????
So ask yourself if Obama can find another alternative ways for your nation to do to make living. So he wants to quit this current position, in which your nation has been in then where can he go to find that most import resource? Obviously he can’t and never dare to switch to goods and services sector in order to make income.
You ask him to offer you tax cut while the government is in debt and the government spending budget is tight?
He talks a lot but the solutions he offers your nation is a dead end.
He went to Europe to socialize with the European youth but what can he get from the Europe to bring back to your nation? The European countries have oil, energy sources?
All he does is to show off and perform on the stage to make himself likable but he does not have anything at all to offer your nation.
The Republican party is the choice for you to continue the strengh and power for America. You need that party but with a different president, a different representative from the party.

40 million saw Sarah Palin. Oprah is afraid of Palin. Oprah has always said that women can accomplish anything they want in life. Sarah Palin accomplished something huge and Oprah refuses to interview her. Oprah is a hyprocrite.

Who names their son Obama? Horrible name, never heard of it in my life. Now that’s an embarrassment. Then, to make it worse, he has a muslim middle name, Hussein. So, pleeease leave Palin’s children alone.

Sarah Palin’s children have unusual names. Quite nice. I read that Chelsea is called after a song (a name in a popular song at the time. Also quite nice and unusual.
We the Canadians think John McCain did great on his debate he is a strong leader, we believe he is well diversed and has the experience to run the Country, on the other hand Barack Obama is full of hot air and he talks with no emotion like a robot if that is what the U.S. wants elect him he is very inexperienced and just a good talker he did go to law school and it shows. If John McCain isn’t elected we the Canadians would love to have him for Prime Minister of Canada. Canada sold Alaska for 1 dollar we would like it back since you think Alaska is of no importance to the U.S. along with Sarah Palin who you constantly make fun of, shame on the us you can’t see the forest before the trees you got a real MAVERICK and don’t even see it too bad for the U.S. You earned the name Yankees didn’t you

i believe that mccain-palin would be the best choice. he does not “parrot” “stupid” bush. and so what if he does!?! he won the last election, obviously the country liked bush then, why not now? because CLINTON ruined our economy, and bush is getting the short end here.
considering what happened to our country (you know that 9/11 thing when our country was ATTACKED) i believe bush has done a pretty good job being our president. are we in iraq longer than we need to be? maybe. but senator obama’s plan to bring them back within 60 days just isn’t possible. why? because it takes the average soldier 1.5 weeks to get back to the states. JUST THE STATES FOLKS! granted a military plane can probably hold more than your average 747, but we have a limited amount of planes on hand to bring them back.
just saying mccain has a more realistic plan for bringing them home, and personally, i think the war in Iraq will never end, and bahgdad will be a permanent post.
