OlderJust Stand Up 2 Cancer - FIRST LOOK!
13 of the world’s most renowned female singers pose with song creators/producers LA Reid and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds at Fashion Rocks to sing “Just Stand Up!”, the worldwide charity single benefiting Stand Up 2 Cancer at Radio City Musical Hall in New York City on Friday.
Keyshia Cole, Leona Lewis, Fergie, Ciara, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J Blige, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, Ashanti, Nicole Scherzinger and Natasha Bedingfield are all decked out in their black Stand Up To Cancer t-shirts.
All three major TV networks, NBC, ABC and CBS will create a roadblock at 8pm EST on Friday to broadcast the event. Hosts include Halle Berry, Jessica Alba, Sheryl Crow, Charles Barkley and Melissa Etheridge.
“For the first time we can envision the possibility of stopping cancer in its tracks,” the group said in its mission statement. “But just when science is on the verge of giving us the breakthroughs that can end cancer, the will and the funding to do so are disappearing from the national agenda and from our collective consciousness.”

Miley stuck out and not in a good way but who cares. She got involved/was asked to be in something that is a very good cause. Like it or not with disney’s marketing machine she got pretty big and made somewhat of an impact. She is much more relevant and powerful than people like Ashanti and Ciara. Seriously this is for cancer, her singing ability or lack of is really not that important here.
Seriously are there nothing but a bunch of 14 year old’s on this site? Miley? WTF?!! There are some powerful voices in this group of women with way better songs than Miley Cyrus. Geesh, I dont hate the girl, but God our youth is uneducated in terms of talent.

A news commentator mentioned how ironic that the show was for Cancer, and ALMOST all the stars smoked or tanned…….. I guess it is good for them to see what the people behind the scenes do to organize these events for someone who is fighting and surviving against a terrible disease, because within a few short years, ONE or TWO of them will need their services………They will need cancer support also…..I bet they lit up the minute their Limo picked them up and drove off………….SAD !!!!!
Yeah I don’t think miley should have been their her pathetic little girl voice is for like two year olds I feel sorry for the real divas around her but what can you do when you want little 5 year olds to beg their parents to donate?
