OlderKatie Holmes is a Ballet Babe
Katie Holmes walks out a pretty pair of ballet flats as she heads into Minetta Lane Theatre in New York City on Friday morning. For more than a month, the 29-year-old actress has been rehearsing daily for her Broadway debut in the revival of Arthur Miller’s play All My Sons.
Eli Stone star Matt Letscher recently told People about Katie’s upcoming cameo in the hit ABC drama.
“She does a song-and-dance number that is the best one we’ve ever done,” Matt says. “We’ve done tons of [musical numbers], and she was just phenomenal. She’s the sweetest person in the world, down to earth, simple. She’s just like anybody else. I met her daughter and her husband was on set. It was great.
When asked if she’ll return for more episodes, he said, “They’ve left it open. I think she had a great time, which made it easier. Everyone was welcoming and it couldn’t have worked out better.”

I worked with Katie on Dawson’s Creek for 3 seasons. I was crew, not cast. She was rude, arrogant, spoiled and not the least bit nice to anyone but a couple of cast members and the upper management. She thought she was better than everyone else, but the truth is not only is she NOT better, she’s much less of an actor than the other principals on the show and much less of a person. Her Mother was lovely tho. As for the other cast members, with the exception of JVB, they were lovely. JVB was almost as obnoxious as Katie, but not quite.
Also, apparently anyone who’s tired of Katie or who isn’t a huge fan is a “bad person”? That’s not only sad, it’s delusional. In my experience, the “fans” (fanatics, I should say) are far more rude and nasty than any of the Katie critics. As an example, your comment is downright mean and personally attacks strangers. Critics on the other hand, are discussing a public figure. If you can’t figure out the difference, you’re not very smart.
The New York Times has a small article from one of their theater columnists today stating that ‘All My Sons’ is not selling tickets so it seems as if your constant pandering to her is not working, JJ! Lets be honest, NO ONE wants to see Katie Holmes on Broadway or anywhere else. I have my tickets for Equus. What about you?
In addition, I’m a New Yorker who lives in the city. It was 80 degrees at 8AM when I walked to work. Katie is dressed completely inappropriately and that scarf is just ridiculous.

Kidman’s review in London were so fantastic, the play was moved to NYC where it sell out AGAIN to rave reviews. Kidamn was in every single svene of the play.
THERE IS NOT ONE COMPARISON WHICH PRODUCES A SINGLE SIMILARITY BETWEEN KATIE HOMES AND JACQUELINE BOUVIER KENNEDY.

I did notice your post on your 3-1/2 year old granddaughter vs. shoes/socks. I too just shake my head over some of the ridiculous posts about Suri and her lack of shoes, wearing the same shoes, wearing no socks etc. I have two granddaughters (1 and 3) and one of them refuses to wear shoes–so you are always running around trying to find them and putting them back on and the other loves her “princess” shoes and wears them constantly. Suri is probably a normal two-1/2 year old and does the same.
Going back to Malibu Mary and the repercussions she speaks of if anyone leaves the sect…personally I think this is why Nicole keeps so silent about the marriage, the kids etc. She knows better than to rock the boat as it would put her family and kids in jeopardy!

Mine will even hide the others, just to wear her Red Dorothy Wizard of Oz shoes…..PLUS…the issue over her not wearing a sweater of jacket, when Katie is wearing one, our little one is like a freaking heater….She sweats and stays uncomfortable in ANY sweater or hoodie, or even a raincoat…..It has to be in the 60’s before we can keep those items on her. Hey Creature, it’s called eyesight. Just because you don’t see it, or would rather turn a blind eye, it doesn’t mean others can’t. I used to be a fan of Katie in her Dawson’s Creek days and kept up with all her interviews and comings and goings. THAT person in the pictures Jared posted doesn’t even resemble her. That person looks aged and depressed to me, compared to the Katie who used to always laugh and smile.
You seem to just know the Katie Holmes that is with Tom Cruise. You don’t seem to realize that there was a whole generation oif Dawson’s Creek fans who were very familiar with her, and literally hundreds and HUNDREDS of us would be going to Wilmington, NC to be extras or just visit the set during filming season. We all met and saw Katie on a regular basis. We even saw her out at the restaurants in town and drank next to her in bars. She wasn’t some recluse with bodyguards being driven places in her armored car SUV.
