Katie Holmes walks out a pretty pair of ballet flats as she heads into Minetta Lane Theatre in New York City on Friday morning. For more than a month, the 29-year-old actress has been rehearsing daily for her Broadway debut in the revival of Arthur Miller’s play All My Sons.
Eli Stone star Matt Letscher recently told People about Katie’s upcoming cameo in the hit ABC drama.
“She does a song-and-dance number that is the best one we’ve ever done,” Matt says. “We’ve done tons of [musical numbers], and she was just phenomenal. She’s the sweetest person in the world, down to earth, simple. She’s just like anybody else. I met her daughter and her husband was on set. It was great.
When asked if she’ll return for more episodes, he said, “They’ve left it open. I think she had a great time, which made it easier. Everyone was welcoming and it couldn’t have worked out better.”

After reading the comments on this thread from the supposed “fans”, one thing is painfully obvious: The same person is posting the same “I love Katie” comments continually. It’s kinda sad that someone would have that much time on their hands. The Katie you remember from Dawsons Creek is dead and gone, replaced by the shell of a human being you see here. She’s been swallowed up by a cult and looks mighty unhappy about it. I’d feel sorry for her if I didn’t think she was as dumb as a stump for getting involved in the first place. lol! I guess she thought Cruise would boost her career. That didn’t work out very well, now did it. lmao!
Katie reeks of the Tom Cruise stink and it’s really too bad she had to infect her talented co-stars on stage. Not one of those actors deserves that, or to even be on an equal billing with her. They are all so above it as artists and as people that it’s really sad they got stuck in this mess.
I still believe without a doubt that Tom bought this Broadway role for her, because she doesn’t have the acting chops or stage presence for the role. I also feel sure the critics will eat her alive. I think right now we can count on seeing a lot of references to her being ‘the one weak link’ when the reviews come out.
I have to add that I actually feel a little bad. I think she is showing the strain, and probably wishes she could back out of it. Sadly it’s too late for her.

Katie is exactly what Tom wanted, a small time actress who would stay home, obey, and follow him around. This is her one shot and she will fail. Tom knows this too.
Tom doesn’t want another talented wife with a brain. Kidman ran Scientology out of the house at only age 23 and after only a one year of marriage. Kidman brought her children to catholic mass against Tom’s wishes and enrolled her children in normal schools. Kidman had the guts to tell him off and the talent to succeed without Tom.
Kidman was the headliner oh her first broadway play (wIthout a prestigous ensemble cast of Tony, Oscar, Emmy winners. Kidman’s play sold out in days, scalpers were selling one ticket for $1400. Kidman’s review in London were so fantastic, the play was moved to NYC where it sell out AGAIN to rave reviews. Kidamn was in every single svene of the play.
THERE IS NOT ONE COMPARISON WHICH PRODUCES A SINGLE SIMILARITY BETWEEN KATIE HOMES AND JACQUELINE BOUVIER KENNEDY.

I just went back and caught up on Eyes. Sometimes when a new thread is posted I don’t go back and look at the other thread.
If what your friend is saying is true–I think she and Malibu Mary need to be really careful. Scientologists can be very very vicious.
I did notice your post on your 3-1/2 year old granddaughter vs. shoes/socks. I too just shake my head over some of the ridiculous posts about Suri and her lack of shoes, wearing the same shoes, wearing no socks etc. I have two granddaughters (1 and 3) and one of them refuses to wear shoes–so you are always running around trying to find them and putting them back on and the other loves her “princess” shoes and wears them constantly. Suri is probably a normal two-1/2 year old and does the same.
Going back to Malibu Mary and the repercussions she speaks of if anyone leaves the sect…personally I think this is why Nicole keeps so silent about the marriage, the kids etc. She knows better than to rock the boat as it would put her family and kids in jeopardy!
I dunno. I’m a mom of 2 and I know the pregnancy belly button when I see one. She looks like she’s about 2-3 months preggy in these photos.
She’s wearing a lycra/knit (stretchy) top and leggings - so not sure why there would be a “button” on her clothes. Again, looks like a preggy belly to me.
This is a very sad look. She could definitely do much better.
london, it’s already been said and I know it is a fact. Katie Holmes has an outie belly button, and you can often see it thropugh shirts. I can testify to this in person. And you’re insane if you think she is two to three months pregnant. She’s practically anorexic!
THANK YOU DANCER !!!!!! These little girls are so funny about their shoes and socks… OR…having just ONE favorite pair they insist on wearing with every article of clothing, no matter the weather…. Mine will even hide the others, just to wear her Red Dorothy Wizard of Oz shoes…..PLUS…the issue over her not wearing a sweater of jacket, when Katie is wearing one, our little one is like a freaking heater….She sweats and stays uncomfortable in ANY sweater or hoodie, or even a raincoat…..It has to be in the 60’s before we can keep those items on her. Her little sister ( 18 months ) is the same way…..Why use an electric blanket when I can just cuddle them? …….My daughter-in-law and son are excellent parents and are not “”CLUELESS”"” or “” UNCARING”"” either, because of this……..BUT, I on the other hand freeze everywhere I go, including the mall and grocery store…. I keep sweaters in my car for this purpose…….I also have Lupus and other medical auto-immune problems that KEEP me cold alot…… I could care less what other say when WE are out, because I’M covered and they are NOT………………I guess what it boils to, is we do not know what Katie’s health is, OR what Suri likes…… She could be just like our little ones………..
