Katie Holmes walks out a pretty pair of ballet flats as she heads into Minetta Lane Theatre in New York City on Friday morning. For more than a month, the 29-year-old actress has been rehearsing daily for her Broadway debut in the revival of Arthur Miller’s play All My Sons.
Eli Stone star Matt Letscher recently told People about Katie’s upcoming cameo in the hit ABC drama.
“She does a song-and-dance number that is the best one we’ve ever done,” Matt says. “We’ve done tons of [musical numbers], and she was just phenomenal. She’s the sweetest person in the world, down to earth, simple. She’s just like anybody else. I met her daughter and her husband was on set. It was great.
When asked if she’ll return for more episodes, he said, “They’ve left it open. I think she had a great time, which made it easier. Everyone was welcoming and it couldn’t have worked out better.”

That’s the thing. I never pretended to know any more about TomKat then the rest. I always admit that I don’t.

Hey Creature, it’s called eyesight. Just because you don’t see it, or would rather turn a blind eye, it doesn’t mean others can’t. I used to be a fan of Katie in her Dawson’s Creek days and kept up with all her interviews and comings and goings. THAT person in the pictures Jared posted doesn’t even resemble her. That person looks aged and depressed to me, compared to the Katie who used to always laugh and smile.
You seem to just know the Katie Holmes that is with Tom Cruise. You don’t seem to realize that there was a whole generation oif Dawson’s Creek fans who were very familiar with her, and literally hundreds and HUNDREDS of us would be going to Wilmington, NC to be extras or just visit the set during filming season. We all met and saw Katie on a regular basis. We even saw her out at the restaurants in town and drank next to her in bars. She wasn’t some recluse with bodyguards being driven places in her armored car SUV.
