Me And Zac Efron Movie Premiere

Zac Efron and co-star Claire Danes arrive at the Me and Orson Welles Premiere held at the Ryerson Theatre during the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada on Friday.

Actor Christian McKay and director/producer Richard Linklater also posed for photographers on the red carpet.

Me and Orson Welles involves a teenager hired to star in an Orson Welles production of Julius Caesar when he becomes attracted to a career-driven production assistant.

The film is slated for release in 2009.

The following article is very informative of all aspects of this movie but some might fight it long and boring since some hate reading more than 25 words. But if you will go to about the last third of the article—where it starts talking about Zac and his being cast—then I think everyone will find it very interesting. I hope I get this link right. LOL

“All good; everyone’s healthy, and everyone’s great,” Pitt, 44, told Entertainment Tonight at the Toronto International Film Festival Premiere of his flick, Burn After Reading, Friday.

The only thing that could be a little better?

“Sleep is something we long for, but that’s alright, we’ll get it [soon],” the proud pop added.

Pitt jokes his easygoing life with his family helped inspire his goofy character in Burn After Reading. He plays a dimwitted gym employee who stumbles on a CD potentially full of CIA secrets.

“You’ll see some remnants of home in [my performance],” he told ET.

Pitt has been spotted all over the world promoting his movie sans Angelina Jolie.

The dad-of-six was in Paris with daughter Zahara earlier this week, and Venice with sons Pax and Maddox last week.

Next project for Pitt?

Zac Efron seems right at home on stage in the movie Me And Orson Welles, which looks at how Welles put together the famous Mercury Theatre production of Julius Caesar in the Thirties.

Zac plays a young man who manages to get a small part in the play and finds himself acting opposite Welles.

‘It wasn’t Shakespeare, but my background is theatre. I did several plays and musicals before my High School TV days,’ Zac told me after a screening of Richard Linklater’s film.

Welles’s Julius Caesar was, of course, in New York.

‘Our New York was in England and on the Isle of Man, so that’s the closest I’ve been to Broadway,’ Zac laughed.

He made his name in the Disney High School Musical TV shows, but he’s keen to do other things, and he’s impressive in Me And Orson Welles.

‘I would love to return to the theatre, but for now I want to concentrate on films,’ he said.

When he was in the UK, he was working double duty, shooting Me And Orson Welles and doing tracks for High School Musical 3, but he did get a night off to see Speed-the-Plow at the Old Vic, which he described as ‘awesome’.
