Brad Pitt Tackles Toronto
Brad Pitt looks dashing for the Burn After Reading premiere at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival at the Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Canada on Friday.
The 44-year-old actor was last seen flying out of France en-route to Canada.
The film opens in theaters nationwide next Friday, Sept. 12th.
Beyond movies, Brad recently spoke about past dreams of being a rock star! He revealed, “I think every guy has fantasized about being up there on stage playing to an audience. I still play the guitar now but at my age I know I suck. I love playing and I love music but that dream has gone.”

Actors rule! Good to see Brad doing different types of roles for he is a true artist. Forget all that celebrity nonsense. You can see these days that walking on that red carpet has become annoying for all these artists. They go thru the motions and answer inane question from people who think they are still in junior high. Even though it still “Hollywood”, it’s no longer special. No wonder they all want to bolt the red carpet.

New dad Brad Pitt looked dapper in a dark suit and tie with spiky hair at the Toronto International Film festival — and in the middle of the red-carpet pandemonium, he stopped for our own Jann Carl to deliver the goods about his new twins with Angelina Jolie!
“All good; everyone’s healthy, and everyone’s great,” he told Jann, adding, “Sleep is something we long for, but that’s alright, we’ll get it [soon].”
The A-list star knew how to work the crowd, signing autographs and taking pictures with fans before hitting the red carpet to promote his new Coen Brothers comedy with good pal George Clooney, who could not attend the event.
In theaters September 12, ‘Burn After Reading’ stars Brad as a less-than-sharp gym employee who obtains a disk containing the memoirs of a CIA agent and attempts to sell it.
As for his knuckleheaded character, Brad self-effacingly told Jann, “You’ll see some remnants of home in [my performance].”
ummm….love brad, but hated the movie — saw it at a screening the other night. BLAH!
Oh and I forgot…a guest that came to the film, was one Gerard Butler, in town for Guy Richie’s Rocknrolla which he stars, that premiered yesterday. Gerard ‘Can you get any more beautiful Angelina?’ Butler was looking hot and handsome himself. Brad I’m sure is cool with him, and appreciates that the man has taste I’m sure.
The MAN Brad!!! A man so obviously in love with Angelina!!! WOW!!! He will be back in her arms soon. I will see BAR next week when it opens!

The house, designed by Tulane graduate Nora Gordan of Los Angeles-based Graft Architecture, felt solid, he said. At the height of the storm it “shook a little,” but nothing more. In fact, Spahr said, the house reacted so little that he was unaware of the strength of the storm beyond its walls.
The five unusual houses scattered along barren Tennessee Street — the first of a projected 150 affordable, sustainable structures to be built in the area — were designed for survival. Each was conceived by a respected architect to replace a home ruined when water from the Industrial Canal gushed through the neighborhood during the 2005 flood that followed Hurricane Katrina. The Make It Right project, instituted by actor and architecture-enthusiast Brad Pitt in December 2006, is meant to allow residents to more confidently return to New Orleans — where hurricane threat is a way of life.
The obliquely angled structure in which Spahr took refuge is reinforced from roof to pilings with hurricane straps, to make it especially wind-proof. The 9-foot-tall concrete stilts lift it far above the flood line. The windows are impact-resistant, and the drywall is paper-free and therefore mold-resistant.
In the midst of the harried preparations, a few architects found time to give InsideOut preview tours of the almost-finished houses. Our overall reaction to the project is simple: Thank you, Mr. Pitt — your heart and your architectural eye are in the right places.

BAR had an afterparty just as they did in Venice and just as happens after most premieres. Casts get together and visit. If Brad went to it after the BAR gala good for him. He and Angie went to the afterparty for AOJJ at Toronto last year held in their hotel the Park Hyatt. Both Angie and Brad usually go to their films afterparties, part of business for them.
Angie is happy at home surrounded by their kids, and knows Brad will have tales to recount when he comes home today (Saturday).

Can Brad Pitt get any hotter? Can Brad Pitt get any more beautiful?
Let me see, so someone thinks Angie should have hauled their 7 week old twins whom she is breastfeeding every couple of hours on a 12+ hour flight to Toronto on Friday morning, run off the plane, dress while breastfeeding, run to the red carpet for an hour, run back to the twins, throw off her dress as she runs into the hotel room door as the babies will be awake and ready to be fed. Or she could have pumped on the red carpet and sent the bottles of breastmilk back to the hotel for the babies to be fed. Then get up today (Saturday) and make the 12+ hour trip home to France with two babies who may not yet be good travelers, or have all their shots.
Right idiots?
Red carpets and long plane trips are the last thing on Angie’s mind at this time.
