Brad Pitt Tackles Toronto
Brad Pitt looks dashing for the Burn After Reading premiere at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival at the Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Canada on Friday.
The 44-year-old actor was last seen flying out of France en-route to Canada.
The film opens in theaters nationwide next Friday, Sept. 12th.
Beyond movies, Brad recently spoke about past dreams of being a rock star! He revealed, “I think every guy has fantasized about being up there on stage playing to an audience. I still play the guitar now but at my age I know I suck. I love playing and I love music but that dream has gone.”

~~NEW THREAD~~
********* NEW ANGIE THREAD *********
Why this incessant need by everyone to talk up Clint and Angie’s chances at an Oscar? The fact is giving a great performance or crafting a great film is only part of the fomula needed to win an Oscar. So everyone, just chill, enjoy the film when you see it and if you like it talk Oscars all you want but try saving it for the award season. Angie doesn’t need the validation. Forget the Acadamy Awards, I think we should be pressing the U.S. government to award Angie and maybe even Brad the Congressional Gold Medal for all the tireless work they do. They are the greatest symbols today for reinvigorating charitable work. I would love to see her at that ceremony!

Google ET Canada Aniston and you will find the link.
Just saw Burn After Reading….So funny.. Loved it.. I think the twist kept you on the edge of your seats.. I wanted the film to be longer. But I think if you enjoy the Coens or even if you don’t you will like the movie. It was just great. I will be going back to see it again, and will add it to my video library.. That is big news for me.

The first time I saw the video someone posted re X interview. Is she really like that, I mean, the way she answered the questions of the interviewer. It’s so annoying to watch & hear her during the conduct of the interview and at BBC at that! I was wondering, English is her first language, yet she couldn’t utter the right words in a sentence. Very “amateurish” way of a response. Her choice of words has left me thinking if she’s ok in that moment. I don’t mean that she has to answer with impressive words but I was expecting even with just simple sentence she can get her message across. However, she couldn’t even make a good sentence. If only for this interview, I won’t be convinced to watch her movie if I am regular moviegoer. So far, she is is the worst celebrity (in answering questions) in Hollywood I’ve ever heard!…. She’s so “painful” and agonizing to look at & hear what comes from her mouth!
I saw burn after reading today and it was very good. I also saw The family that preys starring Alfrie Woodard, Cathy Bates and Tyler Perry. It was fantastic. I enjoyed both of these movies and will definitely get both on DVD. Being a fan of movies, I’ll say these two should do well . Both were packed, especially BAR.
Coens’ “Burn After Reading” lights up box office
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - “Burn After Reading,” a spy comedy from Joel and Ethan Coen, narrowly won the weekend box office derby in North America on Sunday, setting a sales record for the Oscar-winning filmmakers.

“Burn,” whose cast includes George Clooney, Brad Pitt and John Malkovich, sold an estimated $19.4 million worth of tickets across the United States and Canada during the three days beginning September 12, distributor Focus Features said.
It represents a new record not only for the Coens but also for Focus, the arthouse arm of General Electric Co’s NBC Universal unit. The brothers’ previous best was “Ladykillers” with a $12.6 million opening in 2004.
