Vanessa Hudgens Has a ReLAXing Time
Vanessa Hudgens catches a flight at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Friday.
The 19-year-old actress was headed to Salt Lake City, Utah for a concert!
V’s current squeeze Zac Efron recently talked about not being able to relate to his Seventeen Again character, saying “It was hard to play someone that I couldn’t relate to in the slightest,” admits Zac. “But the director taught me a lot about the art of acting, which I hadn’t been schooled in before. I’ve got a better understanding of what it means to be an actor now!”
Less than two months ’til the opening of HSM3!

i’m going to her concert tomorrow before i go the vma’s.
She looks so tired in these pictures. Went to one of her concerts and I am sorry to say it was not that good. Really disappointed because it was expensive and she really does not have a strong singing voice.

Kimmie, sorry to note that you were dissappointed with Vanessa’s concert performance. You must have pretty high standards and be a perfectionist to boot. I’m afraid her concert’s budget does not cover special effects, elaborate costumes/outfits and high tech equpment. You’d have to go to a Madonna,justin timberlake, Beyonce or the like for a big budget performance and the price of a ticket would probably be 5 times that of Vanessa’s or even more.

Go to Vanashbrenique to read a fan encounter with Vanessa at her concert in Utah. There is some concern of her getting to the red carpet on time. Anyway, she’ll probably make it for the presentation.
Watch out , Vanessa’s mother does visit the sites quite often.
to the ppl who have said they are going to her concert 2morrow….shes not that good live! she sings to a backing track the whole time, theres no band or anything. My friends and I were kinda annoyed we spent all that money when she came to our fair cuz yeah it definatley wasnt worth it.

I can’t help noticing that some of the people who are expressing “disappointment” in Vanessa’s concerts are people who have made it clear they DON’T like Vanessa to begin with like tia. Which begs the question if you weren’t fans of her music to begin wtih why would you pay to go to her concerts? It seems to me like some people are just trying to ruin it for others which IMO is kind of low.

Katie, don’t be such a sour grape. You probably didn’t even go to her concert. All I’ve been getting are good reviews and accounts. I must say you and Tia are one of a kind, an exception to the rule. If you know anything about sound systems, then you’ll understand. Vanessa is touring on a tight budget and she is performing to those constraints, an amazing feat in itself.

99-actually i agree with them. I love Vanessa, i think shes awesome! and I went with my little sister and my cousin and some of their friends and we wernt the only ones who were dissapointed. I think it was because the backing track she sings along to is SO loud is kind of sounds like shes lip singing, which she isint, but its not 100 hundred percent live since she does sing along to her own voice and i think thats whats dissapointing about it. At the show we were at Raven also performed and she was awesome because she was one hundred percent live and really interacted with the audience and stuff and vanessa didnt really do that. but everyone is entitled to their own opinion! its not like anyone is insulting her.

SarahX0#105. Again, it is the sound system and the person operating it. Each venue has their own sound system and will vary from one another. It could either be good or bad. That is why the more wellknown singers bring their own soundsystem albeit at a cost, which the audience in turn pay at a much higher pice to cover this cost. I repeat Vanessa is performing on a tight budget and if she were to have a financial backer with a bigger budget, the price of tickets would cost alot more and her show would be spectacular.

I can’t believe how incredably insensitive people are. Sometime ago, Vanessa did state that the problems she has with her body is her stomach and her feet. She is very self concious about those areas. If she were pergs, she would have cancelled her concert in fear of hurting the baby which I think that would be her first priority. Being on tour not having time to realy work out and taking care of herself will do that to you, look what happend to Kelly Carlston or whoever that is, she gained weight after her tour and finally gave in that she’s not going to be like Hollywood and just let her body and herself be the way she wants it to be, maybe not in that sense but to that effect. So…. leave Miss Vanessa alone, she’s not pregs. and would not be stupid enough to do that she’s got a very bright future ahead of her, she’ll know when the time is right to have that bundle of joy. Be happy for her and stop hating on her.

James#115, since you addressed me, I’m responding. I did not condemn SarahX0. She did give a constructive criticism and I did not shove my opinion down her throat. All I did was explain the reason for the bad sound system and recording.
Anyway, overall she got pretty good reviews and they outnumber the disgruntled fans/non fans. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, yes, if it has been objective and without malice. But to say that her concert is not worth the money spent is totally unfair. If you’re not her fan then, why bother in the first place. Fans go to support her and see her in person. If there is a problem with the pre- recorded music being too loud, and drowning her voice, I can understand that. But it does not justify saying that her concert was a dissappointment. The organizers are to blame here. Vanessa has worked very hard and she deserves some credit for her performance without the frills and trimmings.

I honestly have not heard ANYONE not love her concert, so I don’t know where these few “I was disappointed” comments have come from, so late in the tour. Every newspaper review I have read it great!! This one from her concert in Canada says it was the big success of their acts:

The so-called “sound issues” are ridiculous to complain about. Vanessa has no control over all that. These concerts are a chance for her fans to see her live, singing and dancing, and she did that!! A few of our “Angels” went to one and thought it was fabulous, and that she sounded GREAT live.
Now, I know everyone has different opinions and are definitely CRITICAL, but if you’re truly a fan and went to one, there’s no way you should be disappointed. And if you were, honestly, shame on you. Most of us fans would have LOVED to have gone, if she had performed anywhere near our homes.
And so what if it IS a tattoo?? She’s almost 20, owns a home now, so if she wants a small tasteful tattoo, I say, why not??? OMG, it’s not like we’ve never seen one. I just wouldn’t want her to plaster them all over her beautiful skin….

IF someone can have an opinion that is filled with hate or insult or anything else, then we the fans of Vanessa have a right to say what we want.
Also, just because Boji made a comment to CLARIFY something a fan wrote doesn’t mean she was not allowing that person a right to have an opinion, not did she get ugly about it. Sometimes fans will write things that are just not well informed and someone will give a little more information about the situation which makes more sense. Some people have wondered why they haven’t see Zac and Vanessa together and why she isn’t in Toronto with him. So, someone else will come and say she is doing a concert elsewhere and it will give more clarity to the simmering rumor that they are broken up—do you understand that? 171 and Boji-But thoose people were just giving an opinion. Its kinda ridiculous that people are SO obsessed with defending Vanessa that people cant even have differant opinion. I dont like her song Sneakernight, so if there was a post about something and it mentioned that song and I said I was not a fan would I get hammered for that? probably even though I would not be personally insulting Vanessa herself. Im sorry, I just find it really annoying that the the diehard fans cant just let other people have their own opinions. No-one is replying to everything you guy’s say and saying, ‘actually Vanessa isint as great as your saying she is….’. because they respect that everyone has differant views on her, so why cant you just let it be?

I visit this site a lot and the first few comments were not from fans. they regularly come here to trash Vanessa in groups and under different monikers and this is just a new tactic.
So many people who are fans and non-fans (including you) call out fans for ‘being obsessed’ about Vanessa or ‘admiring’ a so-called bad role model and nobody calls them out for doing that because this is a ‘free world’ with ‘freedom of speech’.
It’s our prerogative to say what we want and defend Vanessa the way we choose to. This is her thread, we are here to admire and support her the way we like which includes refuting the efforts of people that deliberately come here to undermine her work and reputation. In that sense, we are also expressing our opinions, it works both ways.
Fans and non-fans have expressed that they don’t like all her songs and nobody calls them out for that. We’ve been here a while and know when people are expressing their opinion or deliberately being obnoxious.
Whichever way, everyone has the right to say what they want and get any kind of reply, that’s the way the free world works.
This way, opinions that can be backed by facts and substance remains and those that are just plain mischievous and obnoxious fizzle out as the commenters are rarely able to defend them.
It’s worse in other threads and with other celebrity fans, I don’t see what’s unique about Vanessa fans doing what fans normally do. Let me see you go and call out Brangelina fans for their more vitriolic answers to non-fans and see what you get.
If you don’t like it, express your opinion (the way you’ve done) and take our replies or find another blog. Thanks.

James, no one has stopped ANYONE from expressing their opinion. You can type a comment here as well as I can. And naomi is right. Our opinions have every right to be here,as do yours. There’s no reason we can’t correct or retort a rumor as her fans.
Yes, we have become zealous protectors of Vanessa’s. It became a passion of ours because of the hateful people that had no forgiveness for a young girl who made a mistake. We felt she deserved our support, and we came out here to defend her. People of ALL ages, I might add.

I AM fan of Vanessa’s. Maybe not as over the top as you because Im not some little girl, but I do like her. and Im sure thoose other people who left comments do as well. I saw Vanessa in Albequeque and I am a huge fan, but I have to admit that her show was not outstanding. Corbin opened the show and had a live band and lots of dance moves and lots of personality. He even came out for his last number wearing an Obama t-shirt, which I give him credit for doing. (A grown up move and not very “disneyesque” of him.) He performed for an hour and half. Then Vanessa came on and she played for just an hour. She didn’t talk much with the audience but she worked hard to move about the stage with energy. Her back up dancers spent almost as much time between her short three song sets dancing and throwing out t-shirts and glow rings as she spent singing. But I still appreciate that Vanessa has a radiance on stage that makes her a special performer.
