Britney Spears - MTV VMAs 2008
Britney Spears wears Custom Versace dress, H Stern Jewels and Versace shoes as she receives the award for Best Female Video ‘Piece of Me’ at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards at Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Brit-Brit had a short comedy sketch with Jonah Hill (Superbad) before walking out to the stage to introduce the show.
As the 26-year-old singer walked onto the stage, she received a standing ovation! During her acceptance speech, she thanked God and her two sons.

i was just wondering.. did she get an award cuz a lot of disasters happened and she’s in good shape now and mtv still wants her to keep on getting better, that’s why she gets an award.. or did she really get better as an artist..?
cuz before she was always nominated. but she never won.

I’m not the biggest Britney fan, but the girl looked good tonight and was in a far better place both mentally and physically from last year. No one deserves to go through all of the craziness that she did in that last year alone. She looked good and happy. I can’t even hate.

this is the best she’s looked in a while.
First … She looked Great. Second….. She should have won because her cd was Great. Her time was due. She probably should have won a while back too. Her cd was overshadowed by all of her personal drama. Still it was a banger from beginning to end. IMO …. Also….. I have not heard Chris Brown’s song forever yet…..although Im sure its good.

I think people forget that the fans voted for all of these. Past that these are the VMAs not the Grammys. Talent has never been a huge indicator of who was going to win.
